Introducing Docs in Proton Drive – collaborative document editing that’s actually private: https://proton.me/blog/docs-proton-drive
With Docs you can:
- Write with privacy — Create and edit documents within Proton Drive, knowing your contents are only accessible to you and those you choose to share with.
- Share and invite anyone — Invite other users to view or edit your documents with a single click.
- Collaborate in real-time — Changes are reflected immediately, ensuring every contributor always sees the most up-to-date version.
- View cursors and presence indicators — See who else is viewing or editing the document, enhancing teamwork and communication.
- Leave comments and replies — Add comments to share feedback without editing the document. Comments are visible to all collaborators, keeping everyone in the loop.
- Import and export with ease — You can upload .docx documents, edit them, and download in various formats like .docx, .txt, .md, and HTML.

It's already an issue that I can't synchronise my Google Calendar with ProtonCalendar and this is why I cannot use ProtonCalendar at all. There are many plugins that allow for using Google Calendar with Microsoft Outlook as third party applications if there is some reason why direct integration can't be achieved, but for the price that the Visionary subscription costs, and the fact that ProtonMail & ProtonVPN are classing themselves as business-grade products for custom domain mail management, I don't think these features are an unrealistic expectation. I assume that the response will be that it's not done because of "security reasons".
I wholeheartedly agree with this suggestion. ProtonDrive is of no use to me unless these apps are developed and made available. This is a shame because I prefer ProtonMail over any other provider and trust them more with the security of my information than I do any other provider out there however it just so happens to be that every other provider except ProtonMail have apps for all their products.
