Shame on protonmail for waiting like 8,5 years for beginning on this otherwise mandatory feature. Just found a workaround on google:

Keyboard Shortcuts: ProtonMail offers keyboard shortcuts (e.g., T+Enter for deleting and opening the next email, A+Enter for archiving and opening the next email) that can be used to navigate emails quickly. While not exactly an auto-advance feature, these shortcuts can streamline your email management process.

    -----------
Better than nothing while waiting for decades.

@Thomas Smith - there is no such setting. Neither in android app nor web version. I am also a beta tester. Is it me that is blind or? Confused.

Am I dreaming? Proton finally answered after 8 years with total silence and ignorance. Please improve this against your customers in the future. I know that you already have lost a lot of customers and prospects because of this @proton!

From Reddit and questions from Protonmail:

    1. Would you want this to only happen in the Inbox folder?
No all boxes, compare with gmail. Inbox is most important though.

    2. When your Inbox has a list of messages with mixed read/unread status, would you expect to be automatically taken to the next message irrespective or read or unread status, or only to the next unread message? Could you share the reason behind your choice?
Haven´t thought about this but why not irrespective of read status? Preferably this could be a personal setting for every user.

    3. Which platform would you like to see this implemented on? Web, mobile? Both?
Both. More important on comp but nowadays most people uses mobile devices so I think both unit types is important.

    4. If you'd like to see this on mobile as well, why not use the swipe action to quickly delete or archive emails? Is there something about that action that you find difficult?

No. That feature is splended but we would like protonmail to show next message after delete/archive or, for that matter, just swiping to next message.

Please implement this. Is has gone several years without any action
