This is a feature available in 1Password, which I moved away from to use Proton.

This would be great.
I would like to have the options of a dedicated OS app (Android, iOS, Mac, Windows) as well as have in-browser access, but also have the option to open it in a side view in mail, calendar, drive.A few key features for me would be To Do lists (checkboxes, due dates), some level of formatting (nothing fancy), option to share notes with others (live/multi-player style)

I think this would be a great improvement.
Also, having the ability to see a breakdown of usage file types etc.See a percentage of space used by photos, videos, documents etc.
Maybe even be able to drill down into these categories to view percentage used by file extension (pdf, docx, jpg, png etc).Elliot

Initial implementation of Docs is great, but plenty of areas to improve.
I assume there is a lot still being worked on.
A couple things I've noticed, would like added/improved.
- Image formatting options - currently images are only inline, adjusting the browser width messes with the image aspect ratio.
- Dark mode
- Code block control - options to style the code block
