Option to automatically enable ProtonVPN when connecting to Wi-Fi or untrusted connection.
Why isn't there an option to automatically enable ProtonVPN when connecting to Wi-Fi? I mean, it would be even better to have an option to esclude some of the saved Wi-Fi networks, and mark them as "trusted".
But the simple use case that 90% of travellers use is to switch VPN on as soon as connecting to a public Wi-Fi. I don't need to waste my battery and Internet data when navigating in 5G with a VPN.
Why can't I just automate that with one click in the app?
Yeah sure, you can do that with 3rd party apps, but come on. We are in the era of AI automation and we seriously still need to remember to switch on and off our VPN when walking outside of the hotel or airport?
ExpressVPN and NordVPN have this important option.
Nowadays it is a necessary option. The number of ProtonVPN blacklisted IPs is growing fast. The captchas and having to change servers frequently are annoying.
