who would make the content that proton would offer? how would proton moderate the platform or catalog? how general or specific is the scope of the streaming service? how much would users pay for it? what would proton do differently than others? why would a streaming service fit with proton's existing products?

uservoice is a third party platform that proton has no control over
think of it like a different reddit for user feedback -

the idea and motivations seem disconnected
the idea is QR code login for other devices such as browser login
the motivation is so you don't have to use TOTP as 2FA. 2FA such as security keys without having to set up TOTP is an idea of itself which is already on uservoice
also TOTP is not an insecure 2FA. if anything, QR codes which act like FIDO2 passkeys are as secure as TOTP since unlike FIDO passkeys, the url is not verified at time of use -

if a malicious app can screen grab, then you have bigger problems than just the screen grab
how is this part of the published threat model of the vpn? -

if an app you installed or someone else installed is a keylogger, then you have bigger problems and a bigger security problem than just key logging
this suggestion is not part of the vpn's threat model -

other than portability to non systemd distros, is there any gain to put in the engineer hours for this?
systemd is used in the most popular distros and proton so far only supports ubuntu and fedora running gnome
I agree with the idea of named sessions for easier session management
the implementation could be different with randomly generated pairs of words associated with each session (adjective+noun) at each login as to make it easier to identify which sessions and logs correspond to which device you log into
