    I'm surprised that privacy-minded people at Proton didn't think of this and making the browser extension sync settings with the account.

    Until there's a more secure scheme to prevent unwanted access to the vault through the browser extension, e.g. on a shared machine, I have no other choice but to go back to BitWarden.
