I do like Proton applications, but I do not understand approach when comes to Contacts as such ... isn't that more secure to remove all contacts from iCloud or gmail and have them in really secure environment, synchronized over all devices ? Yes, I can imagine it's not not simple task for programmers ... but silence of Proton company makes me ... grrrr ... nervous (?)

Contacts is the only missing service from Proton. I keep all my e-mails on Protom Mail, I've moved all my calendar events into Proton Calendar, but ... contacts in Proton Mail is OK, but useless on mobile device. Especially in case I run my mobile phone on GrapheneOS with different Profiles ... it's impossible to synchronize my contacts from one Profile to another one unless I give all of them to a **** like Gmail.

I would appreciate Proton could work on Proton Contacts in any manner, sort of CardDAV service is enough for me (as backup / synchronization).
