   This is is the single most important feature I am looking for that is getting in the way of me fully adopting open source in my personal life.

   Why?

   Because I am the director of a company that has to use a Windows PC in the office, but I use Linux at home. Sync of documents between these platforms will allow me to work from home without having to fire up my Windows laptop.
