5. It would be very helpful if Proton Docs had the same editing tools as Google docs. I work a lot with shared documents and I like the privacy

   why, NIST has stopped recommending to change a password periodically.
   I think that if it is a strong password, unique and not shared and kept securely stored that it would be pretty much an overkill.
   So for as long as an password is not compromised it should not be changed in my opinion
