    Normally I would ask "does anyone else find it" but in this case I bet everyone in this thread finds it annoying that the new product, proton meet, got a linux app before drive ... real slap in the face

    The reason I voted for this is less about security and more about ecosystem (which with proton is security by default). I can just imagine a proton browser with all their services integrated seamlessly. On my desktop especially all the proton services feel disconnected. Even if it did use existing open source browser code as it's base i think there is some usability and security to be gained by a first party browser with everything proton built in.
