    Hello,

Definitely,‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ a professional PST to VCF converter that supports multi-PST loading is the right way to go. Such a utility permits you to load several PST files, view all contacts collectively, and save them as one VCF file.

    My working method:

I loaded all my PST files into the converter.

    Previewed and filtered duplicate contacts

Selected all chose Convert PST to vCard

    Exported one clean, consolidated VCF

I timed multiple PST files with WholeClear PST to VCF Converter, and it went very well. If you are searching for a robust PST to vCard converter with a merging feature, this method is just ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌right.

    Hey,

When‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ duplicates show up in VCF files, it means that your Excel data has hidden extra rows, repeated names, or minor formatting changes that a basic free Excel-to-vCard converter cannot recognize. To avoid duplicates, you have to clean the Excel sheet first.

    Steps to remove duplicates properly:

Employ the “Remove Duplicates” feature that comes with Excel.

Remove formatting by using “Clear All” so that even the hidden symbols will be taken away.

Make sure that there are no trailing spaces after names or numbers.

Don’t allow two similar records with slight spelling changes to exist.

Make sure that each contact has a unique phone number or email.

Once the file is cleaned, re-save it as XLSX and then perform the Excel to VCF conversion. A converter that is properly designed, like WholeClear Excel to vCard Converter will go through each row only once and will not create duplicate vCard entries if the data is ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌consistent.

Failure‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ in converters due to mixed vCard versions is a typical scenario. In general, an older tool supports only one version, so contacts with a different structure are ignored or partially exported. I had the same problem with batch VCF to CSV conversion. What fixed it was the usage of Softaken vCard to CSV Converter, as it supports all three major vCard versions, 2.1, 3.0, and 4.0, and also changes their format internally to be the same before giving out a file. This avoids mapping errors and makes sure that every contact is included. The preview also allowed me to be sure that the mixed-version contacts were correct before I saved the CSV. As soon as I changed to this method, the whole VCF file was converted without any fields missing. This tool is particularly great when you have old backups from different ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌devices.
