ProtonMail offers encrypted contacts for both web and mobile applications (https://protonmail.com/blog/encrypted-contacts-manager/). Calendar and note functionality will be released in the future.

I just switched to Proton from Gmail (literally have been using Gmail for over 20 years, first email is dated March 2005) and the lack of iOS integration is not only extremely frustrating, but downright unusable.
Proton team: We care about privacy, but we also care about choice. If I trust Apple/iCloud to store my contacts (or a copy of them), then let me do that. Privacy and encryption can still be first-class citizens while still allowing integrations with other platforms.
The fact that, as of today, I can't import my contacts from iCloud / my iOS device using the app (it says "Sorry, use a browser") AND if I try to use Proton Contacts exclusively, because the Proton apps don't implement a contact provider or common protocol (CardDAV) to hook into iOS... means that all of my iMessage conversations wouldn't have names or pictures.
You need to prioritize allowing people more freedom to do what they want with their data. Heck, I'm a developer and I looked for an API and didn't see one, because I would have also been OK with writing my own contact sync. You can't create a walled garden of encryption, it's not a long-term sustainable business model.
Why hasn't this been merged with the other two more highly voted requests for mobile address book contact syncing or contact provider integration?
Does the Proton team even check this site anymore?
