Search user experience is not good.
The most basic things, like searching for a word somewhere doesn't work as expected. It's needed to manually specify to "search message content" (really? isn't this what most people will be searching for?) and when enabled, it doesn't search subject lines? and it also might be case sensitive? who remembers the case of some words they entered in an email?
Little details too, like when checking "enable message content search" in the app, it says it needs to download a copy of the messages to the browser. What browser? using the app.
Come on, Proton. Search is a central feature for email and being able to search for simple text is the bare minimum.

Hey Proton, any estimates of when you can add this? This should be part of your aliases out of the box, as currently there's no way to be sure whether the email was sent from the alias or not, which totally defeats the purpose of privacy the aliases are used for.
Additionally to the problem replying, when sending a first email, one has to first add the receiver as "contact" under the alias and then cross fingers that this 1) was processed correctly and 2) one did not any mistakes like a typo or adding it to the wrong alias, when sending the email with the main address as sender. And one also doesn't get to know whether it worked, unless adding oneself as bcc. Seriously?
Is there anyone there thinking about user experience, or making features minimally viable..?
