Hello, I'm not sure what the status of this request is. I understand that given the time it has been open since July 27, 2023, with no activity from Proton, it will be on hold. But before generating another new request, I'm trying through this channel, as there are more than 30 channels open with equal or similar requests.
I had been a BitWarden user for more than 3 years, and I've decided to migrate to Proton Pass. I'm missing a basic tool that every password manager should have: a specific section to generate random passwords at any time, without having to create an entry just to access this functionality.
Bitwarden has a section within the iOS/Android app and on the web itself, called "Tools," and within this section there is a password generator that you can fully customize to your requirements. Proton Pass does not have this. To be able to use it, you have to access via web an external URL: https://proton.me/pass/password-generator - this makes no sense.
Would it be possible to integrate this password generator tool directly within the Proton Pass app and web interface, similar to Bitwarden's "Tools" section? This would provide a seamless user experience without needing to access an external URL.
