ProtonMail offers encrypted contacts for both web and mobile applications (https://protonmail.com/blog/encrypted-contacts-manager/). Calendar and note functionality will be released in the future.

Definitely a must option for the diffusion of memorable passwords in all languages (the Proton team should know, being in such an international environment).

The longest joke of an upcoming feature?
Really sad this is still planned after so many years and not prioritized.

I left Proton several years ago because it’s non-sense to use a mail / contact / calendar service focused on confidentiality without the ability to use it as the default contact database in a cellphone. I wish one day it will be done. But this has been 6 years it has been promised, and 1 year that the CEO Andy said on reddit "soon after the v7 release".
Let’s continue to hope that i can use Proton once again one day.

This is the second most voted feature on for ProtonMail on this platform for years (and the 3rd, and the 5th). The Proton team says they are working on it for 9 years now. No solution in sight.
I just paid for a full Proton Plan for a year and I will no be using ProtonMail because of the lack of this feature. They do other great services but ProtonMail should be able to deliver this basic feature. I really want to use it, but manual syncing is a no go and goes against all the principle of having a secured contact app.
