    “Show if unread” behavior for folders/labels

    Gmail has an option called “show if unread” for labels. When enabled, a label is visible in the sidebar only if it contains unread messages. This keeps the folder/label list compact and makes unread items stand out.

    It would be very helpful to have a similar option in Proton Mail for folders and/or labels – for example, a per-folder setting like:

    * Always show
    * Show if unread
    * Hide

    This would work especially well together with the aggregated unread counter on parent folders, making it much easier to manage larger folder hierarchies focused on unread mail.
