Hovering should expose any links that underlie any link or button in an email, including email addresses. I was looking at a spam email and it has a "Verify your Account" button. On my Mac mail program, hovering over the button, the actual link is displayed which quickly verifies that it is a spam email. This is actual an important security feature for me!

This would be very useful. Both for comfortable display of an email and for looking at several different emails at once.

At least synchronization of contacts with my Mac contacts (like a bridge) would be handy. Having contacts in multiple places is not a good option, but I still need Apple's contacts for phone calls etc.

I use this feature every day and would really like it too! For example, if I am sending a press release to multiple journalists, I can use send again to send each one individually. Very handy.

Apple's mail program on iOS is more polished that Protons. Focusing on a bridge would allow users to choose which app works for them. Sometimes Proton's mail program has a feature that works better for a specific email, but often the Apple mail program is more polished. I suppose it is possible there might be an issue on iOS that limits communication between apps, but definitely worth looking into. A lot of my issues with proton mail on iOS would be resolved by this.
