    Now that Lumo lists Apertus among its models (https://proton.me/support/lumo-privacy), the option to specifically select it would allow concerned users to fully meet the criteria for ethical AI: no intellectual property infringement or non-consensual use of creators' content, transparency, privacy with no jurisdictional caveats or data scraping, no abusive practices in generating the model data, and relatively low energy consumption.

    Lumo already meets those criteria when it autoselects Apertus, but it would be ideal if users concerned about AI ethics could guarantee that every interaction did so.
