I'm a loyal Proton user who values your End-to-End Encryption. I'd like to request a native integration between Proton Drive and Unifi UNAS (UniFi Drive).
Ubiquiti recently added native sync for Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox to their UNAS series. Would Proton consider building a similar integration that maintains E2EE security?
Specifically:
Is this technically feasible while keeping encryption keys secure?
Is this on Proton's roadmap?
This would enable the "best of both worlds" for privacy-conscious users: local NAS storage with automatic, encrypted off-site backup—no intermediary PC needed.
I understand the technical complexity, but this would be a game-changer for the Proton community. Any thoughts on feasibility or future plans?
