Yes! All the features proton offers, I can either self host or in the case of email; just use something like gmail as a uptrream and encrypt all my email/traffic so that gmail can't see the contents (Simplelogin btw, I was using them before proton took ownership).
This specific parity is keeping me on the fence of diving into proton full on. Really looking for a privacy focused alternative to google and apple pay. I would love to so much to pair it to my tangem wallet (tangem pay).
I personally use a degoogled ROM on my phone... even if I have all the dependencies that is required, this **** (google pay) won't function.
I would love it so much if I could just tap my phone against a POS system and pay for things.
If you are just looking for a virtual debit card that is privacy focused. I highly recommend tangem pay... it's not at all like google or apple pay... I wish it was, but it does give you a virtual debit card that you can use and pull from your tangem wallet.
