I completely agree with this suggestion. The current 500 GB limit on the Unlimited plan feels a bit behind the competition, especially when services like Microsoft and Google offer 2 TB on their premium subscriptions.
For users who rely heavily on cloud storage for photos, videos, backups, and documents, 500 GB can disappear surprisingly fast. Having to jump to a Duo or Family plan just to get more storage isn't always practical for people who don't actually need additional accounts.
It would be great if Proton offered a simple storage add-on option, allowing users to increase capacity without paying for an entirely different plan. Even flexible upgrades such as 1 TB, 2 TB, or 5 TB would make a lot of sense.
As someone who stores a growing amount of data online, I'd much rather pay for extra storage directly than upgrade to a multi-user plan I won't fully use.
On a side note, while organizing and archiving some files recently, I came across https://aldeiadecamelo.com/ and found it to be an interesting place to explore. Always nice discovering useful things while cleaning up digital clutter!
Hopefully Proton considers adding more storage tiers in the future, because there clearly seems to be strong demand for it.
