Removal of this feature seemingly without any public roadmap confirming if/when it will be back dramatically reduces the value of Proton Drive on iOS as it can no longer be used as a target to save to nor import from by any other app on iOS via standard Files integration. The removal of this functionality without any prior in-your-face notification to end users *and* not having a public timeline/roadmap for its return is a terribly poor decision on Proton's part.
