Notification configuration per device
Currently we can adjust notifications per folder. That applies though to each device using this proton mail account. It would be nice to be able to configure notifications on device. This way, I can receive critical notifications in my main smartphone (like security things) and receive work related mails on my work smartphone. Same account, different behaviour.
Summarizing, I would like to have the hability to silence folders locally, not globally.
Thanks in advamce!

Display receiver alias in BCC mails
When receiving BCC-only email to an alias, the alias is not displayed in the TO field of the Web UI. Instead it just says "Undisclosed Recipients".
I can see the alias in the Headers.8 votes -
Customize iOS notifications (with filters)
Currently I get an IOS notification every time an email comes in. The vast majority of my emails don't need an immediate response, but a few do. I would like to only get a notification on the IOS app if an email triggers a specific filter.

Snooze email keyboard shortcut
Can we please get a keyboard shortcut for the snooze option? It could default to later today or tomorrow, or open up a menu where you could select a time using arrow keys (just a thought).
I got really used to snoozing unimportant emails to deal with them later, especially when I can't decide whether it's actionable or not.

Increase visible emails per page from 50 to +100
If I want to delete many emails from a given sender, it seems that I must do it by loading 50 at a time and then mass-deleting them. Then I have to load the next 50, etc. Is there a way to view/delete more per iteration?

Shorten 'Message sent' notification in Android app
The dialog box lingers for way too long after sending/forwarding a message, causing a long wait to access the delete and other buttons at the bottom of the app. Please enable user to suppress, reposition, tap through the box to shorten the display time. Same with 'message deleted'. Thanks!

Consistent search bar
On iPhone or iPad, when you want to redirect a mail to a folder, a new window appears. However, unlike Apple mail, there is no search box.
It's tedious to scroll through all the folders until you find and select the one you want.
It would be interesting to see this search box appear in every window that opens on all proton services1 vote -
Multi-Recipient Email Forwarding with Optional Acceptance for ProtonMail Aliases
Overview:
ProtonMail's email alias feature is a powerful tool for managing multiple identities and organizing incoming emails. However, currently, the forwarding functionality is limited to a single recipient per alias. To enhance collaboration and streamline communication within teams or departments, we propose the implementation of multi-recipient email forwarding for ProtonMail aliases. Additionally, recipients should have the option to choose whether they accept receiving emails forwarded to a specific alias.
Feature Description:
This feature allows ProtonMail users, particularly those within shared vaults, to designate multiple recipients for emails forwarded to a specific alias. When an email is sent to the alias, it will be automatically forwarded to all designated recipients, ensuring that relevant team members or departments receive the communication simultaneously. Recipients have the option to accept or decline receiving emails forwarded to the alias, providing flexibility and control over their inbox.
Key Components:
- Alias Configuration Interface: Within the Proton Mail/Proton Pass settings, users can access the alias configuration interface. Users with appropriate permissions, such as vault owners or editors in shared vaults, can manage alias settings.
- Add Multiple Recipients: Users can add multiple email addresses as recipients for a specific alias. Recipients can be individual ProtonMail accounts or external email addresses.
- Recipient Management: Users can easily manage the list of recipients associated with each alias. Options include adding, removing, and editing recipient email addresses.
- Forwarding Rules: Users can set up forwarding rules for aliases, specifying whether emails should be forwarded to all recipients or only to select individuals based on predefined criteria.
- Recipient Acceptance Option: Recipients of forwarded emails have the option to accept or decline receiving emails forwarded to the alias. Accepted recipients will receive forwarded emails in their inbox, while declined recipients will not.
- Permissions and Access Control: Permissions for managing alias forwarding are tied to vault roles within shared vaults. Vault owners and editors have the authority to configure alias forwarding settings, while members have view-only access.
Benefits:
- Enhanced Collaboration: Facilitates seamless communication within teams and departments by ensuring that relevant stakeholders receive important emails simultaneously.
- Flexibility and Control: Recipients have the option to accept or decline receiving emails forwarded to a specific alias, providing greater control over their inbox and reducing unwanted communications.
- Streamlined Workflow: Reduces the need for manual forwarding of emails to multiple recipients, saving time and minimizing the risk of oversight or missed communications.
- Improved Efficiency: Enables teams to work more efficiently by centralizing incoming communications and ensuring that messages reach all necessary recipients without delay.
Implementation Considerations:
- User Interface Design: The alias configuration interface should be intuitive and user-friendly, allowing users to easily manage forwarding settings for aliases.
- Scalability: The feature should be designed to accommodate varying team sizes, from small groups to large departments, without compromising performance or usability.
- Security and Privacy: Measures should be in place to protect the confidentiality of forwarded emails and ensure compliance with privacy regulations, such as end-to-end encryption and access controls.
- Feedback Mechanism: Provisions should be made for users to provide feedback on the feature, allowing for continuous improvement based on user experiences and preferences.
Conclusion:
Multi-recipient email forwarding with optional acceptance for ProtonMail aliases is a valuable addition that enhances collaboration, provides flexibility and control over inbox management, and streamlines communication within shared vaults. By empowering users to designate multiple recipients for aliases and choose whether to accept forwarded emails, this feature promotes effective teamwork and efficient communication workflows in both professional and personal settings.

Better Command Palette
As a heavy keyboard user I was happy to see you have a command palette via ⌘ + K. Only to be disappointed by it's small feature set.
Would be nice to have more actions inside the command palette:
- Move message to folder
- Label message
- Go to folder
And anything else that you can currently do via a shortcute or via UI.

Android app: show all copied emails by default in replies
In the new Android app (which is great, btw), when I click "Reply All" to an email, by default it only shows the "To" field. "Cc" and "Bcc" are hidden by default, which is fine...unless there are recipients hidden on the Cc line. Right now if you Reply All to an email there is no indication at all on the draft screen that others are on copy unless you click the little arrow to expand the Cc options. This can (and has already, for me) create situations where you might send an email without noticing there are additional people on the recipient list...potentially very awkward/dangerous.
Would be much better if the Android app does what the web app does and shows a "Cc" section on the recipient line - you can't see much unless you expand it, but at least there is a visual queue that there are other people who will receive this email unless you remove them.

Automatic reset of the search bar
It would be nice if the search bar automatically reset when you click on a folder after a search.
Or to have the choice of automatic reset.
Most of the time, you have to delete the word manually from the search bar to view the contents of a selected folder.1 vote -
Add gesture support to ProtonMail Desktop App for improved navigation and usability
The ProtonMail desktop application currently lacks support for touchpad gestures. Adding basic gesture functionality, similar to what is available in the ProtonMail web interface, would provide a nice quality-of-life improvement for users with gesture-enabled touchpads.
For expample, adding a two-finger swipe gesture to go back to the inbox view from an open email. This would allow users to seamlessly navigate between individual emails and their inbox without having to reach for navigation buttons.
I believe this would be a relatively straightforward feature to implement that would meaningfully enhance the usability and feel of the ProtonMail desktop app for many users.

Single interface for all linked accounts
As a user I want to have an ability to view my multiple inboxes in a single interface.
Currently I have to navigate to another page, switch accounts and then only view 1 inbox of that chosen account. This is very inconvenient. Also, I have a paid subscription but only 1 inbox sees that. Other linked accounts appear like they're on a free plan and are constantly suggesting to upgrade. This is irrelevant and simply annoying. Link between my acounts needs to be esablished and they should share the attributes.

Don't show number of Snoozed emails
Displaying a count on the Snooze folder is contradictory to the purpose of a Snooze folder.
1) The purpose of snoozing an email is so that it clears (currently) unnecessary clutter from the interface and from the mind. The count however is constantly reminding use of stuff we want to (temporarily) forget.
2) The purpose of a count is to make sure we don't overlook a mail. This is achieved with a snoozed email by it reappearing in the inbox - there's no need for a second mechanism.
Fwiw, personally I think most folders should have counts (e.g., spam and drafts) because they prevent things being overlooked. But Snooze is an exception because it is purpose is to allow something to be overlooked for a period.
