Android mail app open image attachment needs to default app
On the Android app, every time I open an image attachment I'm offered multiple apps to open that image, I just want it to use a single default app I configure.
Ideally if the email is from a specific address then I can default the app that is used to open the image.

Duplicate email detection
Duplicate detection during Easy Switch from Gmail is not perfect and sometimes duplicate copies of imported emails remain, eating up space. It would be great to have an option to detect and remove them later.

Include notifications in subscribed calendar
Sharing calendar via link should have an option to include also notifications. Currently only manually exported calendar contains notifications, which makes it impossible to sync calendar via subscrbtion.

Year/Multi -Month View with Toggle-able Events
Allow for longer planning views up to a year on one page. One year would be pretty small on most screens, but not all. 4 months in two columns of two would be usable on most laptop screens though.
Then if you allow events to be toggled on and off, this would aid in scheduling out long term. For instance, if you had, say 12 possible events/conferences/schools/etc you could attend in a year, many of which had multiple iterations, you could more easily visualize how to tetris a schedule out of your options.

time entry
In proton calendar
Current time entry format is HH : MM. User must manually type the colon " : " when entering time.
Desire the ability to enter time without typing the colon " : ".
System shall automatically interpret 0800 as 08:00.

PDF viewer in Android ProtonMail app, with easy save to ProtonDrive
Completed request 7808634 was for pdf preview, which of course works in ProtonMail Windows app, and also in ProtonDrive Android.
But in ProtonMail Android, although I've updated to latest version, the "Open With" for pdf attachments doesn't offer me an integrated Proton pdf viewer.
Only 3rd party ones, including Google Drive and Dropbox... giving me a quick workflow to save recieved pdfs into Dropbox. But of course I'd like my default cloud to be ProtonDrive!3 votes -
Allow increase of tiny composer font size in iOS app
The composer font size in the iOS app is tiny and there is currently no way to increase the size. Changing font size in the per app settings under accessibility (in iOS) has no effect (it increases the font in the UI, but not in composer). This makes the iOS app next to useless for actually writing emails for anyone with any level of visual impairment, or just poor middle-aged eyes. At present I can’t add bullet points when I send an email from the Proton Mail mobile app and this is very painful.

Remove sign-up email
When i first created my proton account I created it using my gmail address. Now it is listed under identity & e-addresses > My e-mail addresses. I cannot remove it.. I dont see any reason why I would still need this gmail be linked to my account. If I wouldve lost access to my account I would still have the recovery keys...
The most annoying part about this is that the gmail adress shows up when I share my files with proton drive. Why would it do that? It always says "shared by ..@gmail.com"

Better Widget
The existing widget provides an overview of the current day’s events, but ignores event duration. A widget that displays the day exactly like in the actual calendar (with different event lengths and gaps) is missing. In that regard, you would even be ahead of Google.

Bulk import of .ics files
Importing multiple .ics files to calendar (web) is quite annoying. You have to import each file individually. Allow user to select multiple files to be imported.

Archive and delete always mark read
Have a setting that marks all messages read when archived and/or deleted.
This is especially annoying when you already seen the title in notification on your phone and just want to archive it, you only get one click. So if you don't want the archive folder to have a "1 unread message" after that, then you have to open the app.

Separate display name per address
I have multiple email addresses (not aliases) set up, but they all use the same Display Name. I don't mind using my full name with my default address, but I would rather have something else show when using my less-publoc facing addresses. I was a little shocked to see my full name show up when someone replied to an email sent from my otherwise anonymous address (no personally identifiable info in the address).

Backup & Restore
t's too bad that ProtonMail doesn't have a GUI Backup & Recovery
Tool, instead of having to recover and install backup messages
using the Terminal and DOS or Bridge which makes it more difficult and tedious.I had no problem saving messages backup as .eml files to ProtonDrive as
a backup; restoring and importing backup messages back into ProtonMail
should be just as easy.ProtonMail should have a more intuitive way to restore and import backup

Create a PIN-code for the application in Windows!
Be sure to create a PIN-code for the application in Windows! Otherwise, what's the point of all your privacy? If anyone can walk into a computer's workstation when a user is gone and gain full access to their email proton !

Im Kalender sollten Termine durch Antippen aktiviert und verschoben beziehungsweise verändert werden können (ähnlich wie zum Beispiel in der Anwendung des Apple – Kalenders).

Notifications in-app
There's a white pop up that appears when you delete an email. Two problems with it. One, it covers up the toolbar at the bottom of the app. If I delete an email and decide to delete another one, I have to wait for the popup to disappear first. Can it be moved higher so it doesn't cover the toolbar? The second issue is that it's a white background while in dark mode. This looks really out-of-place. Thsnks for considering!
