Toggle to move the toolbar (all platforms)
An additional customisation to the Toolbar to move it to the top or bottom of the screen would be great.
It would make migrating from other services a bit easier for users that a very used to actions such as delete, move etc being at the top of the interface.

Linux version of GUI ProtonMail Import-Export app
I would like to propose that the Linux version of the ProtonMail Import-Export app gets a GUI version like the Windows version, which seems to have become unavailable for some reason.
It simply is easier to use and also gives users the option to batch-export and import individual email folders, while the current Linux version only lets export or import all email folders.3 votes -
Turn on auto reply from the phone app
Turn on auto-reply from the phone app.
I’d like to have the ability to turn on auto-reply from the ios app.
I often realise I haven’t turned it on when I’m already on my way to the airport/on the train/out and about. It’s annoying having to go through safari, log in, and dig through the settings.
This should be simply accessible from the mobile app.

Alphabetical ordering of calendars
Right now, calendars on Proton Calendar sort only by the order that they were created. I wish they were automatically sorted alphabetically instead. Thank you!

Be able to use "hide-my-email" of proton pass into proton mail in the "sender" dropdown
In "proton pass", when we create a hide-my-mail, I would like to be able to make a mail with "Proton Mail" in the senders dropdown...
Actually when we create one "hide-my-mail", we have to wait someone to mail to this alias, which then allow us to use the alias.
I'd be cool if all the created aliases in "proton pass" could be available in the list of senders in "proton mail" as soon as a hide-my-mail would be created.8 votes -
Adding an option to Pin an Email in the top of the mailbox
It would be useful to pin an important email on top of the mailbox because we can have too much ''Starred'' email.

Mail notification only for certain categories
It should be possible to send email notifications not only for all incoming emails, but also only for specific emails. For this purpose, you could select the categories for which you do not want notification. This made it possible to hide newsletters, for example.
I know that you can use a filter to move such emails to a folder and bypass the notification, but then they are no longer in the inbox and we don't notice.

Calendar: Book Yearly Event Help
One thing that is very much missing to me, coming from Gmail calendar. I would like to be able to book an event, and make it repeat yearly on a specific day and week of the month. In other words, book an event on the second Monday of February regardless of the date and have it repeat each year. This shouldn't be too difficult, every other option is there. I can book something yearly, and on the same date, but not as I described here. Thanks for any help, otherwise I'm enjoy Proton as a Duo account

Calendar: Allow to include description in email notification
To make calendar notifications useful and actionable, they should include all relevant detail. This specifically includes the event’s description.
Right now, email notifications do not include event descriptions.
Understanding this is for security and privacy reasons even within Proton networks, please enable an option (preferably per calendar) to include descriptions, perhaps all details, in email notifications.
This would make calendar notifications actionable, allow users to decide the level of detail and privacy they need, and still recognize Proton’s privacy approach.

More granular push notification control
Push notifications for Proton Mail on IOS are all-or-nothing: I can receive a push notification for every single email and new login both, or I can turn them all off.
I get too many emails to keep push notifications on for the Proton Mail app. Disabling them means that Proton no longer has any way to notify me that there's been a new login to my account. This is a security flaw.
Ideally, notifications would be quite flexible (allowing notifications to be set for specific labels or folders or other rules), but at the very least I should be able…

Dragging e-mail to label also archives
When dragging an e-mail from the inbox to a specific label, it 'moves' the e-mail to this label.
It would be great if the e-mail is also directly archived, so it disappears from the inbox.5 votes -
make the invitation email for calendar events optional
The email is currently mandatory.
There is at least one use case when the email is not desiderable:
I receive a Google Meet link with date and time by message in a Telegram DM or whatever.
The meeting is agreed upon and confirmed by both.
That person already has the event on his Google Calendar.
I want to set it on my Proton Calendar with the counterparty email as a reference for myself, but I would rather not send a duplicate confirmation email.

Choose which calendars to show in the widget
We need to be able to customise the Calendar Widget to select which calendars we want to be shown (enabled), and which we want to be hidden (disabled), separately to what is shown when opening the app.
For example, I have a Work Team calendar and a Family calendar that I want to see when I open the app, but I don't want them shown in the widget.

Privacy-Preserving Notifications/Generic Notification Mode
Recently, reports involving Signal highlighted that operating system notification databases may retain sensitive information from message notifications, even after the original messages are deleted. While this example involved Signal and iOS, the same general risk may apply to other apps and operating systems where notification content is stored or indexed outside the app.
For privacy-focused users, Proton Mail and other Proton products should offer an option to use generic notification text instead of exposing message content in system notifications.
For example, instead of showing sender names, subject lines, or message previews, the notification could simply say:
“New Proton Mail message…
