All Settings
Please allow clicking on the upper right hand “cog icon” to send you to the full “All Settings” page. A recent update made it so that it is a two step process to land on this page.
Currently, when you click on the cog icon in the upper right corner, the blue “All Settings” button appears. I perceived it not as a link, but as a title (or subject heading). I had to contact customer support to find my way to the complete All Settings page. It wasn't intuitive for me. A one step process would be simpler and more effective in this case.

Proton Calendar: add Repeat Event and All Day fields to default calendar settings
When we create a new calendar, the Repeat Event field in it is set to Does not Repeat by default and there's not way to change this default while editing the calendar.
It is very inconvenient in some cases, for example for birthdays. For every birthday we enter into the Birthdays calendar, we have to change the Repeat Event field value to Every year manually, and if we forget to do it, the calendar won't remind us of the birthday the next year.
It would be great if while creating a calendar or editing it we could set its default Repeat Event value to Every year, Every month or even Every day (if someone needs a special calendar that reminds them of the things they have to do daily).
The same goes for the All Day field ― it would be very helpful if we could check this box by default for all events in specific calendars.

SimpleLogin Alias Export CSV Should Include Display Names
The "Display Name" field for aliases should be backed up into the CSV file that gets produced when going to Alias import/export -> Export Aliases under Settings.
At present, notes entered under "Alias Description" are included, but Display Names are absent.
The Display Name field allows for custom per-alias user entered names that should certainly be preserved in backups, and restored in the event that the CSV file gets used "for a future batch import" -- which is one of its explicitly stated purposes.
At present, my manual workaround is to ensure that custom Display Names are also copied and pasted into the Description fields for their respective aliases, so that they at least get backed up in some fashion.

most recent label
I would like the most recently used labels to populate the label list when I go to select a label as it is nice a quick for multiple received e-mails on the same topic. One click and its right there.

Highlight unread count on folders as well
The Unread cont is such a small number on folders, it's easy to overlook. It should be clear to see in order to notice new emails that are sorted into a folder by an automatic filter. If folders could have colors and the highlight would use that color, that would be even better.
I've made a Greasmonkeyscript on Greasey Fork called "Highlight folder unread count" to showcase this.

Nicknames
Please add a nicknames field for protonmail contacts. It would be helpful if this worked with the iOS dictation feature for voice input for to, cc and bcc fields.

Use the user portion of a random-generated alias for mail origin authenticatin
When users sign up for services (e.g. Facebook) they might use a random generated email alias like facebook.com.spar731@passinbox.com, note that the domain of the website who this alias was intended for (facebook.com), is in the user portion of the alias and can be used as a form of data origin authentication like so:
Whenever a user receives an email, the proton mail client checks whether the domain of the sender is present in either the user portion of the beneficiary of that mail (FACEBOOK.COM.spar731@passinbox.com) OR that the domain of the sender is in some sort of whitelist coupled to the domain in the user part of the alias.
Regarding the latter, let's say the user (or community or AI?) whitelists meta.com as an alternative for facebook.com. A sender with email helpdesk@meta.com would also not be considered spam when the beneficiary has facebook.com in the user portion of its email alias because meta.com is in the whitelist for facebook.com.
Another feature that could be built using this mechanism is creating inbox folders coupled to aliases. For example, you might want to generate and re-use your alias socialmedia.app834@passinbox.com across facebook, instagram, snapchat etc. And create a dedicated inbox folder to group all social media-related mails together and such that your main inbox does not get tainted with social media-related ads.
I think a simple check that compares the sender's domain against the user portion of the beneficiary's email and showing a small check mark based upon that is already a small feature but would be really helpfull

Creating calendar events from link
It would be amazing if it was possible to create calendar events from a link, like in Google Calendar.
For example: calendar.google.com/calendar/render?action=TEMPLATE allows one to then put in the text, dates, details, location etc.
This allows for easy event sharing with others, but also makes it possible to create events through an app (which simply puts together and returns a string with the link). This makes it easy to add custom behaviour with code, without needing to open up the full API to users - it could be a relatively simple stepping stone in lieu of Calendar API.
I apologise if something like this already exists, but to the best of my searching abilities, it does not currently seem to be possible.

Convert OST to PST
For users planning to convert OST to PST in 2026, the Aryson OST to PST Converter includes several features designed for both individual and enterprise mailbox management. It supports conversion of single as well as multiple OST files while maintaining folder hierarchy, email formatting, attachments, timestamps, contacts, calendars, notes, journals, and tasks. Since the software works independently of Microsoft Outlook, it can also process inaccessible, offline, or orphaned OST files without relying on the original Outlook profile. Besides helping users convert OST to PST, the software also exports Outlook mailbox data into multiple formats, including MBOX, MSG, CSV, PNG, ICS, VCF, MD, and JSON. It provides a comprehensive preview panel where users can examine email content in HTML, Plain Text, MIME, Raw HTML, and Header views, along with mailbox items such as contacts, calendars, notes, and tasks before starting the export. This helps users verify mailbox content and avoid unnecessary conversions. Apart from this, a useful aspect of the software is its collection of mailbox management options. Users can apply Date Range Filters to export emails from a particular time period, automatically remove duplicate emails, rename output folders using Custom Folder Naming, split large PST files after conversion, perform incremental exports with Skip Existing Exports, and organize mailbox data through Default Folder Mapping. The utility also identifies corrupted, blank, invalid, or locked OST files before processing and generates an export report after completion, making it suitable for users who require accurate mailbox conversion with complete data integrity.

expand day+week view
When in week view, we should be able to view all the items (that have no time) we have. Now we see only 3 or 4 no matter how big the screen is. On the left where we see "GMT+1' there should be a drop down arrow to expand the top part of the screen and see all items on all 7 days. Now the focus is too much on the hours view of the days.
Now I have to click all the days where I see: '3 items more' and cant have oversight.

Additional Options for Booking Page
Add to booking page:
- Buffer times before and after meetings to avoid back-to-back meetings
- Add maximum number of meetings per day, per week
- Allow adding more people to the appointment
- Ask booker's Time Zone. Currently the email that the person receives has in the subject the time in my time zone, which is not necessarily his/her time zone. This has already confused some of my clients and missed meetings. Even though it was correctly set in their calendar. The subject of the confirmation email has importance.1 vote -

Delete all past events button
When I use calendar, I delete past events. This is a nightmare. You have to open, click delete button and confirm. 3 steps for each event.
Can you offer delteing by keyboard "delete" button without confirmation window to speed up deleting or offer bulk delete or even better would be button to "Delete all past events"?8 votes -
Show Display Name in the "From" field when drafting an e-mail
When sending an e-mail, the "From" field only shows the sender e-mail address, but not the display name. It is surprising to me that the receiver sees my display name (which is hidden in a separate settings menu) when there is no indication it is included in the mail when sending it. The UI of "New message" should show the sender display name as well.

Native desktop application instead of web wrapper
The current ProtonMail Windows desktop app looks like a zero-effort separate web window.
Instead, it should be a fully-featured client app, similar to the very well-built "eM Client."
