Progress bar synchronization
I synchronize my backups from my laptop, which have a size of about 700 GB.
I can see that they are being synchronized.
I am missing a display of the progress and the estimated remaining runtime.
The slow synchronization puts a heavy load on my network.
With this information, I don't have to search for a non-existent error.3 votes -

Allow email body to be moved out of Proton window
Often when viewing an email, I find it necessary to be able to move it out of the way, out of the Proton window in order to complete a task while seeing the message contents. Example: I get an email confirming a webinar. I have to open calendar (which I also cannot move out of the Proton window) and go back and forth between mail and calendar so I can add the pertinent webinar information. That is just rather silly. Almost any other mail program allows you to pull the email selection away from the primary window. Please consider this modification.

Order labels in selection dropdown by selected first then other labels
Add the ability to sort labels in the dropdwon by used labels first then all the others.
Either by giving us an option to enable this or doing this by default.
It makes sense to show the selected labels first because when you are changing labels on a mail / thread and want to remove some they need to be visible which ones are used. Else we are just trying to find each and every one of them by typing the names.

Tracking Links Protection in ProtonMail Android app
I would like to request an enhancement for the Android app: the integration of Tracking Links Protection.
Currently, ProtonMail offers Enhanced Tracking Protection on the web. However, it would be great if this protection could also extend to the Android app.

Remove "Get Proton Duo" Button
Proton Duo seems like an awesome feature. I am glad you notified me about its release. If I were two people, I very well might get it. I am only one person. Please allow me to remove it. 😊

Local Scribe support in Firefox
Considering Proton's push for privacy, Scribe should support Firefox, not just Chromium. Only supporting Google-driven browsers seems somewhat counter to Proton's goal.

Add multiple ways to sort emails.
I originally wanted to ask that we be able to sort our Inbox by tag/label. I did see that idea, but also saw requests to sort by star/no star and sender. So I wanted to combine these into a single improvement - to be able to sort the inbox by any column. Being able to do this, helps improve productivity. I would like to be able to see the emails I consider most important to follow up at the top, for example. It can also be valuable to see all the emails from a particular sender or under a specific label grouped together.

I want to see the email as I am typing out a response
It just opens to a new draft window in front of the email in the inbox, and because of that, I am not able to see the email, even the first full line to respond to it. Something like two separate columns or rows, where I can scroll and see the email I am responding to, without having to close the draft window each time. At least an optoin to resize the draft window.

Customize keyboard shortcut to send message to trash
It would be nice to be able to specify which key sends a message to the trash. In Outlook, I'm used to hitting the Delete key to delete a message, and I'd like to be able to do that instead of use T.

Option to Create Filter When Creating New Address/Alias
When a user creates a new address or alias for their default, show an option for that user to create a filter for that alias (or add to an existing filter). Essentially a shortcut to the existing process of creating/adding to filters that makes it easier, especially for less tech-savvy users.

Ability to set default browser for links in ProtonMail
It would be great if the ProtonMail app settings included the ability to define which browser opens links contained in emails. I would like ProtonMail links to open in a browser that is different than my OS system default browser.

Improve Self-Destruct
Self-Destruct function is a great feature but is some space for improvements.
Self destruct in 7 days (please allow us to change this default value according to preference (for example "Self destruct in 27 days", etc...). in other words, allow us to set a value for the default destruction period.
Option to set a Global Self-Destruction for all incoming mails.
Option to set Self-Destruction for particular folders which to overwrite the Global Self-Destruction setting.
In contacts application add a field where we can set a Self-Destruct period for all mails received from that contact email address/addresses which to overwrite all Global and folder Self-destruct settings.
Also in contacts application add a field where we can set an Expiration period for all mails sent to that contact email address/addresses.

Family plan with 6 custom domains
It wouldn't be uncommon for a family seeking this type of service to require 6 individuals with personalized email domains, each having their own unique domain. The fact that the individual plan provides 3 custom domains for a single user leads me to believe that it would be reasonable to expect that in a plan for 6 users, each person could have at least one domain.

Proton Contacts, search all fields, incl. Notes
I find it essential to be able to search all fields within Proton Contacts. Especially Notes, as often add key words in there, if you don't remember names. Search works fine in Mail.
