Icon and Text - Customize Toolbar
Allow the option to have both Icon and Text when reading messages. Apple Mail has this option. I know what the trash and archive icons look like but it takes a half a second to focus that you are hitting the correct one so you don't delete an email that you want to archive. When the text is there (Archive, Trash) you can do it instantly without having to focus on it.

Clear Proton Mail Android notification, if that new email was read on desktop or another device
So if I receive a new email, my phone notifies me, and notification stays until I open Proton Mail on my Android phone and read the email. However, if I am at home by my computer, I get a new email, my phone notifies me, but I read that email on my PC instead without touching my phone. The notification of that email stays on my phone screen until I unlock the phone and clear it.
Gmail app would clear the notification of the new email, if that email was (marked) read through PC or other device.
Why this is good idea? If I have my phone on my desk, while working with my PC, uncleared notifications of new email, which I already read on my desktop can falsely tell me that there is a new email. So if I receive a new email, my phone notifies me, and notification stays until I open Proton Mail on my Android phone and read the email. Invite user to single instance of recurring event
I have a recuring event, but I would like to invite a user to a single instance of this event, and would like a way to do that without duplicating the event, deleting the single instance of the previous event, and then adding the user to the new event. If this process could be automated, where when inviting a user, a confirmation appears asking to invite them to a single event or the whole series, and in the background Proton Calendar duplicates the single occurrence, deletes the old one, and invites the user to the new one so it becomes a separate event, that would be great (or some other workflow to accomplish this).

Add contacts without email addresses to groups
I use “Contacts” in Proton Mail to securely manage all my contacts and I need to be able to group them. I don’t have email addresses for all my contacts. The group icon is grayed out unless an email is present, so I’m forced to enter fake emails like “@.com”.

Sort group contacts alphabetically
Have group members sorted in order like they are in Contacts. I have no idea what order I’m seeing them in, but finding a specific member is hard.

Partial export of .ics of Calendar
In order to update records locally, it would be useful to be able to export only part of the calendar’s .ics file so that we can update local records without having to export the entire calendar every time, which becomes cumbersome for daily updates.
Ideally, it would be possible to set a date range for the export.

A broader open window more like google (sorry) but it is clean, simple and I don't feel like I'm trying to view the world through a mailbox slit.

All Settings
Please allow clicking on the upper right hand “cog icon” to send you to the full “All Settings” page. A recent update made it so that it is a two step process to land on this page.
Currently, when you click on the cog icon in the upper right corner, the blue “All Settings” button appears. I perceived it not as a link, but as a title (or subject heading). I had to contact customer support to find my way to the complete All Settings page. It wasn't intuitive for me. A one step process would be simpler and more effective in this case.

Proton Calendar: add Repeat Event and All Day fields to default calendar settings
When we create a new calendar, the Repeat Event field in it is set to Does not Repeat by default and there's not way to change this default while editing the calendar.
It is very inconvenient in some cases, for example for birthdays. For every birthday we enter into the Birthdays calendar, we have to change the Repeat Event field value to Every year manually, and if we forget to do it, the calendar won't remind us of the birthday the next year.
It would be great if while creating a calendar or editing it we could set its default Repeat Event value to Every year, Every month or even Every day (if someone needs a special calendar that reminds them of the things they have to do daily).
The same goes for the All Day field ― it would be very helpful if we could check this box by default for all events in specific calendars.

Ability to disable login capability for added additional addresses
The fact that I can have more than one address tied to one Proton account is genius, I use it a lot, but here's the thing: I want to disable login capability for some of those addresses.
Like most, I have an account that has a lot of my personal information (Pass, Mail, Drive...), and I also have additional email addresses set up for various purposes. The primary email I use to log into my account is kept private and is not shared, while I use other addresses (such as variations of my full name) when necessary (banks, financial institutions, stuff like that where I don't want to use an alias).
It would be incredibly useful if I could disable login for some of these additional email addresses, so that my Proton account could act as multiple email addresses, but access would only be possible via address(es) I don’t share. This would add an extra layer of security and privacy to the account.
Thanks for considering this request!

most recent label
I would like the most recently used labels to populate the label list when I go to select a label as it is nice a quick for multiple received e-mails on the same topic. One click and its right there.

Less resource-heavy Proton Mail App for Mac OS
The Mac OS Proton Mail app is sometimes extremely resource heavy, specially when replying to long email chains with lots of previous attachments. I have a screen grab of Proton mail using up more resources CPU and memory wise than Adobe Media encoder working on NotchLC video files. Waiting several seconds to see your words you've typed appear onscreen is not usable. I keep having to use chrome instead on these types of mails.

Highlight unread count on folders as well
The Unread cont is such a small number on folders, it's easy to overlook. It should be clear to see in order to notice new emails that are sorted into a folder by an automatic filter. If folders could have colors and the highlight would use that color, that would be even better.
I've made a Greasmonkeyscript on Greasey Fork called "Highlight folder unread count" to showcase this.

Native desktop application instead of web wrapper
The current ProtonMail Windows desktop app looks like a zero-effort separate web window.
Instead, it should be a fully-featured client app, similar to the very well-built "eM Client."

Please add a nicknames field for protonmail contacts. It would be helpful if this worked with the iOS dictation feature for voice input for to, cc and bcc fields.

Use the user portion of a random-generated alias for mail origin authenticatin
When users sign up for services (e.g. Facebook) they might use a random generated email alias like facebook.com.spar731@passinbox.com, note that the domain of the website who this alias was intended for (facebook.com), is in the user portion of the alias and can be used as a form of data origin authentication like so:
Whenever a user receives an email, the proton mail client checks whether the domain of the sender is present in either the user portion of the beneficiary of that mail (FACEBOOK.COM.spar731@passinbox.com) OR that the domain of the sender is in some sort of whitelist coupled to the domain in the user part of the alias.
Regarding the latter, let's say the user (or community or AI?) whitelists meta.com as an alternative for facebook.com. A sender with email helpdesk@meta.com would also not be considered spam when the beneficiary has facebook.com in the user portion of its email alias because meta.com is in the whitelist for facebook.com.
Another feature that could be built using this mechanism is creating inbox folders coupled to aliases. For example, you might want to generate and re-use your alias socialmedia.app834@passinbox.com across facebook, instagram, snapchat etc. And create a dedicated inbox folder to group all social media-related mails together and such that your main inbox does not get tainted with social media-related ads.
I think a simple check that compares the sender's domain against the user portion of the beneficiary's email and showing a small check mark based upon that is already a small feature but would be really helpfull

Display all labels in the inbox view
I would like very much to be able to display all labels in the inbox view. It can be as an option. This is very important in the organization of messages. Now when I have, for example, "Courier" and "UPS" lables "Courier" "+1" is displayed. And I need "Courier" "UPS" to be displayed. - This is just an example. Labels can be given under the title of the email
