Show sender’s brand icon in iOS push notifications instead of ProtonMail app icon
Currently, every push notification received on iOS displays the ProtonMail app icon, regardless of who sent the email.
I would like the notification to show the sender’s own brand icon or favicon instead of the fixed ProtonMail logo.
This would make it much easier and faster to recognize the source of each email directly from the lock screen or notification center.
ProtonMail already displays sender favicons beautifully inside the inbox. Extending this same experience to iOS push notifications would greatly improve the overall user experience.

Tokenised, deterministic, LLM powered Inbox Triage
I'm concerned that the privacy-first nature of proton will cause it to lag behind privacy-backward competitors and create relative friction in the UX which becomes a real burden.
With a secure LLM operating on your own servers this doesn't have to be the case.
You guys could implement a sufficiently constrained implementation with your in-house LLM which can pre-emptively offer very smart AI actions for those of us who don't mind it running on your servers (this is a compromise I'd be willing to make for the functionality, and lesser functionality could be offered to those who aren't).

Allow sieve to access body content by running client side
Sieve is great, but the proton mail implementation is severely limited by the inability to search message content, such as body. This is of course by design, sieve is running on the encrypted emails, so it cannot read the body content, however, it would be nice to do this sometimes. In a similar vein to the local side body search implemented by proton, I propose a client side sieve implementation, that can run in desktop proton to do filtering on unencrypted message content.

Calendar Items that Overlap; Overlap w/ Transparency Instead of Side by Side
When calendar events overlap, it would be nice for them to become transparent in color and for the items to overlap instead of items shrinking to fit side by side. This would allow the user to still read the contents of events easily instead of them becoming nearly unreadable when side by side.

Improvement needed for email import
There needs to be better flexibility when importing emails from other services. I want to be able to import emails without being forced to add a label. I want them to go directly into a selected folder (for example, Archive).
Also, please add the ability to import emails from local clients like Thunderbird or The Bat. I used them in the past, and all my emails are stored in local databases. These databases can be exported, but there is no way to import them into Proton servers. Please add an option to upload such emails, even if they must be…

More flexible themes for web mail
We need more flexibility with themes in the web version of the mail (tbh in desktop apps i would like to have this ability also: at least to use web theme inside the app without settings for it). Look at the attached image — I really like how one of the services lets you choose a theme and also set accent colors.

Allow selection not save in sent messages with SMTP token
When you have example network printer/scanner and you are using you email as a sending account using SMTP token, allow make selection that sent email is not saved to users sent items. When I scan a document and send to myself using email that is a duplicate on my mail account.

Better UI for Calendar
I moved to Proton Calendar a month ago, from Outlook and Google Calendar. I am frustrated with the user interface, and feel it adds to much "friction" to daily task like creating or moving events. It is the same both on Android and Windows. Do you have plans for improving UI, or providing integration with external calendar clients?

Password protected Mail Bridge - Still actually need
I think the original post is still a good request. Actually, on a share familly home computer, you must keep all user connected to bridge to be able to send or receive email from IMAP/SMTP client.
There is no problem if the account connected is only for one email address, but if you use alias or custom domain with multiple inbox, you do not want all those mailboxes available to the IMAP/SMTP client. User interface colors are not user friendly
You folk might like deep purple (not the band) but the theme is difficult to distinguish between one proton app and another . -- especially on mobile devices. I know people are touchy about this subject, but you need a radical redesign of your UI. Its easy to mke mistakes using your app and the color changes would help a lot.. I truly wish you would spend the money and hire a real UI designer maybe someone from the old Jobs apple era and have them redo mail and please calendar .. which I have totally given up using ..…

Actions to take when email is tagged
When creating or editing a tag, an option to apply a sieve filter or action to take when an email is tagged with this specific tag, like "set expiry to 30 days" or "remove expiry", etc.

As someone who needs strong, clear reminders that don't require me to remember to check my email and then have to click the currently oblique email reminders in proton, I would love to see the option to have event reminders sent to me by text message - as often as I need them.

Ability to edit the URL of a previously added other calendars
Ability to edit the URL of a previously added other (public, external, shared) calendars. Currently, to make a change I have to add it as a new calendar, delete the old calendar, manually set calendar name, color, and notification settings. The URL is the only setting that's not editable

Improve efficiency of "Move messages to" action
The "Move messages to" action/menu recently changed, and resulted in an increase of required clicks to perform that action. This is significant for me, as I do a lot of organizing of emails into folders. Just one extra click adds up to a lot of extra work for me.
There are two use cases that I would like to see improved:

Easier report button for Malicious e-mails and deletion
An easier way to report malicious/phishing and spam/junk e-mails. So for example, if you report an e-mail as malicious/phishing, not only will it report it to Protonmail security, it will also automatically delete the e-mail from your inbox or send it to trash.
