Resize Inline Images
Gmail allows inline images uploaded to be resized, so they are not so huge and graphically fit with the body-text of a message. I'd love to be able to resize and design proportions of email imagery, as it tends to be a significant part of my communications.

So far as I can see this feature is not available in the iOS or Android apps, therefore surely for the majority of users it is essentially unavailable. Why is it marked as completed? Especially, as I also have Proton Drive installed on both iOS and Android devices, I would at least be available through that but I don't even see Drive as an option for attachments. Insane. I can't recommend Proton under these conditions.

Thank you Proton for implementing this in the Proton Mail web and desktop app. Does that mean I can now also do this on my iPhone and iPad?

Each time I send photos now I revert to Apple Mail. It's incredible that photo file size reduction is not part of Proton Mail.

I use Office H&B 2021. Resizing images in Outlook is a snap. Only after purchasing Proton mail did I discover image resizing was not possible. Please add this as a feature ASAP.

This is such a small thing and a massive annoyance. I already considered switching back to Gmail just because of this.

Literally email myself images on Gmail and then forward them to get the images the a reasonable size.
Sooooo inconvenient

Without an image resizing feature Proton mail is inferior to most mail services. Looks like people have been asking Proton to address this for years. What's up?

I think the inline image attachments feature should be disabled until this is fixed. There should at least be a warning/information about a lack of functionality.

Please add this feature as soon as possible.
A crucial one that makes us save plenty of time and prevent us from keep using drive links to share a few images.

This is long overdue and the lack of a photo resizing feature is a smirch on Proton's reputation.

Why is this not being prioritized in any way? It seems like adding basic WYSIWYG capabilities to your service, to make it more enticing for users, would be something you would want to devote some time to.

Copying an image directly into the body of an email is a pretty common workflow in this day and age. There is no need to attach an image when posting it inline is just a much nicer alternative. The issue is, on Proton there is no ability to resize the images. With Gmail you get 3 options for sizing. What's even worse is just how massive the default inline images are. They take up way too much space and to be honest it just looks really bad from a design perspective. It also makes emails difficult to read from a UX perspective.
I noticed this was requested back in 2016. But it doesn't appear to have been addressed at all. Please consider this change because I like most aspects of Proton. But this alone makes it unusable for my workflow.
