Add searchable unencrypted text via user input button or link
Problem, Emails can only be searched by the subject or the fixed header info neither of which can be altered by the user on incoming mail. We all know this isnt sufficient for many searches, but also understand the end to end encryption challenges.
Simple Solution, Id propose a single button or link on each email received or created that pops up a field where the user can type or paste in text meant to be searchable. That would be a quick fix for being able to find important emails, and of course the user would have to understand that…

Ability to move (pm.me) email addresses to other accounts
would be lovely to have the ability to move email addresses with proton domains to other proton accounts.
I would like to merge two accounts I have, and the current suggested method [deleting account] is very stressful.
the account I'd like to delete has multiple addresses and deleting them all at once and trying to catch them before someone does is really stressful.4 votes -
every other option
There is no way to assign an event to "every other"
For instance, I am trying to schedule an event that happens every other Tuesday.
It seems I am forced to enter it manually each month.12 votes -

Bonjour,

port 1143
mot de passeMerci d'avance !

Save external images after first download
There is no need to re-download external images every time I open the email, add the option to download them once and save them on proton forever to preserve my privacy and keep them archived even if the source server is down.
This feature should preferably have some kind of deduplication process so I don’t save company logo 5000 times.

Notifications for Pending Events
Events can be created in Proton Calendar manually or can be automatically imported when attached to emails.
For example, when booking a meeting time in a third party calendar, it's common for an email with a calendar invitation to be sent. This feature request relates to email attached invitation handling.
If the event is accepted then notifications are sent. Expected
If the event is declined then notifications are not sent. Expected. If the event has been neither accepted or declined then notifications (e.g: 15m & 60m before) are not sent.
This was unexpected behaviour for me coming from Google Workspace/G…4 votes -
Default reminder notifications added to events when adding to calendar from iCal file?
I really hate having to manually add notifications for all iCal file events. Why can't these behave the same way as normal new events with my default notifications when imported?

Just enter your event the same way you would tell someone: Natural Language Input
In Fantastical you can literally just type:

Just type in "task", "todo", or "reminder" before your sentence:

Clickable "Green checkmark" option for completed emails.
Please implement a clickable green checkmark option (or something similar) for completed emails. Ideally this checkbox status would display for all emails and would appear next to the mini-icons (trash, archive, move, etc). Many of us never delete emails and simply archive them. However, when we use the "All Mail" folder, it would be helpful if we could have an option to select a checkmark to know that we have completed that particular email or thread as it would help visually with quickly identifying which emails require attention and which have already been dealt with. (Similar to Outlook's checkmark option)…

Calendar Keyboard Shortcut - "Go to"
I would love to be able to use a shortcut (i.e., Ctrl-g) to go to to a date other than what is currently displayed. Currently, the only way to do it is to click the 'Next month' or 'Previous month' until you (finally) get to the month in question. This is especially tedious when I want to go to a date in the previous or next year, much less 2 or 3 years before/after.
