signature template
Proton Workspace
I would welcome the addition of the ability to create signature templates for Proton Workspace.
- An organization user could choose a template and edit it with their own details.
- Even better — add a simple HTML editor for this (as a possible next step of the feature).
- Signature settings by an administrator are also missing. I can only set the Display Name.In a more developed version, user details could be pulled directly from account settings — each organization user would have information listed about themselves (name, job title, etc.). Those details could be automatically…

Filter on mail without a label
I am organizing my mail mostly with labels. There seems to be however no way to filter mail which does not yet has a label attached to it.

undo button
It would be nice to have an undo edit button like most Microsoft programs. A button with a cylindrical arrow that undoes the last edit made, and stores them so one can go back multiple steps. Keyboards are so touchy that, especially if one is not a great typist, is easy to highlight an entire section, for instance, and replace it with the next thing one types. Being able simply to undo a catastrophic mistake rather than having to retype entire paragraphs would be a useful feature. I don't need to be punished for my typing errors--I know my typing…

Independence Day in the United States should always be listed on July 4.
Independence Day in the United States should always be listed on July 4. There is no "observed" day for Independence Day.

Select multiple events at once in Calendar
I don't understand why this feature doesn't already exist. I imported my schedule into Calendar, but now I'm stuck with events that don't apply to me. Instead of being able to select these events all at once, I have to delete them one by one. Plus, the fact that you can't just press the “Delete” key on the keyboard to delete an event more quickly is pretty annoying.

Broader filter categories, ie. all mail from *@Substack to a folder
For instance, be able to send all *@substack emails to a folder, rather than each newsletter at a time

Option to prevent the recipient(s) from forwarding my email without permission
I would like an option to designate certain emails I send as "private" so that the recipient(s) may not forward the email without my permission.

Custom Profile Picture+ HTML Email Designer
I would like to suggest adding custom profile picture support in Proton Mail (with optional privacy-safe avatar or Gravatar integration). This is essential for professional branding and identity.
Additionally, Proton Mail Plus users should have advanced HTML formatting support, including custom HTML/CSS email design, reusable templates, and a proper signature builder. This would allow business users to create professionally designed emails while staying within Proton’s privacy ecosystem.
These features would greatly improve Proton Mail’s competitiveness for freelancers, startups, and business users.

More then 3 Domains for Proton Duo and Family with free Subdomains
It would be fair if the "Proton Duo" and "Family" plans offered more than just three domain addresses. In addition, subdomains should be unlimited.

Improved week view in mobile calendar
aCalendar+ has the best week view concept that I've seen. It arrays the days in a grid of 8 boxes, the last one being a miniature month view, in either a landscape or portrait view, and it only lists appointments, not every time slot of every day. Proton Calendar only has a portrait view with 7 extremely thin columns, which can be very tedious.
Proton needs some more options in this area! The 3-day view is better, but it only lets you see a couple of days ahead, not getting the picture for the full week in one glance.

A bridge for the Proton calendar
I would like to have a bridge, as realised with the Proton email, with which the calendar entries in the Proton calendar are mirrored in the standard calendar on the Mac or iPhone. Then they would also be displayed automatically on the Apple Watch.

"Filter similar emails" when cleaning out the mailbox
I Gmail I love the feature (when selected one or more emails) "filter similar email", and then it selects all email from that address, så I can deleted them all at once. I don't see that option in Proton Mail, and really miss it,

Sum of all new emails in app top level icon
Would like to see a sum total of all new email in the inbox as well as all the subfolders I created and have this number presented at the top level application level icon. So if there were 5 new emails in the inbox and 10 new emails in a subfolder I created that the email filter moved the new emails into this subfolder I would then see the number 15 as the notification at the application top level icon

Calendar Auto-number recurring event titles (e.g., “Event 1, 2, 3…”)
I’d like Proton Calendar to support auto-numbering (or title templating) for recurring events, so each occurrence can have a unique title without manually creating separate events.
Problem
Right now, recurring events keep the same title for every occurrence. For workflows like weekly meetups or lessons, this makes it hard to track progress at a glance.
Example
Create one recurring event with a base title like:
Event {#}
Then the generated occurrences would show:
Event 1
Event 2
Event 3
…and so on.Suggested implementation
Add an optional toggle like “Auto-number occurrences” or allow placeholders in the title:
{#} = occurrence…

Added a simple option to make emails unreadable by AI
I heard about a great tool on GitHub that simply makes text unreadable by AI: gibberify by Will Patti (wdpatti).
The tool is available at this address: https://github.com/GeneploreAI/gibberifier
I think it would be great to integrate this into Proton Mail so that text can be made unreadable with a single click.5 votes -
iOS shortcut for sending an email
It should be possible to automate proton email sending via iOS shortcuts app in the same way as it works for the Apple Mail app.
Example workflow:
1. Select Files — lets the user pick one or more files.
2. Send Email — prefilled like:
• Body text: “Hello, here’re my attachments:” and then an embedded File token (the file(s) selected above).
• Fields in the action header: with Subject and to Recipients (both are parameter “chips”).
• Extra fields shown:
• From: (optional)
• Cc: (email addresses)
• Bcc: (email addresses)
• A toggle: Show Compose Sheet (checked), meaning…4 votes -
Birthdays in another colour
I see Proton now shows the birthdays of my contacts in calendar. Great!
I'd love to be able to mark these with a different color or symbol, so birthdays stand out from 'normal' appointments. E.g. in Outlook you could choose any colour you want (because the birthdays are shown as a separate calendar). Plus, they would be marked with the icon of a birthday cake.

Expand subfolders during drag and drop in Proton Mail web interface
When dragging and dropping a message in the Proton Mail web interface, hovering on a folder/label with nested subfolders/sublabels for more than a threshold period (eg 500ms) should expand the immediate child subfolders. Folder tree should stay expanded after releasing mouse.
Support dragging and dropping of existing folders/labels to create nested subfolders/sublabels.

Add Sender to Existing Filter
I like to use my filters for categories of senders, not just individual filters for every sender. It would be nice if we can click the "Filter" button and choose the option to append the selected email's sender or Subject etc. to an existing filter.
For example, I like to put all my emails related to airline points in the same folder. Having 5 filters for different airlines makes my filter list cumbersome to go through, so I combine them into one filter. If I have an existing filter that is already moving New Zealand Air emails to my Points…
