Bridge for old computer such PPC Mac
A lot of local activists who are using protonmail for fight against dictatorships and are still using old platforms to design posters, banners and staff like this are using old Mac computer with PPC. I know some gay communities in Minsk and other Burmese artists with old computers who will love to see such implementation. Sometimes, we, the occidental people forget that a computer is registered for governments (like a weapon in EU) so to let know the dictators that you have a computer is dangerous (like in Algeria or Morocco). This activists has old computers to generate posters and…

VPN builtin into Protonmail Bridge
I'm paid user, and I can't have "always-on" ProtonVPN on my computer, but on the other side, I would like to have Proton mail in my favorite email client always updated.
To solve this issue, it would be great if you add a feature to establish a VPN connection within ProtonMail Bridge3 votesSince VPN and Bridge are two separate products with very different functionality, we won't be integrating them together at this stage.

IMAP whitout Bridge
Would it be possible to have the possibility of choosing an IMAP option that does not require to download the Bridge program? I know it means no encryption but I don't mind.

I would be interested in paying for $25 per YEAR (not month) for Unlimited domains & UNLIMITED addresses.
I would be interested in paying $25/YEAR for Unlimited domains and addresses.
I use catch-all and have probably 5 trillion trillion trillion possibilities and am not interested in paying MONEY to use an email ONCE.
I want to be able to RECEIVE AND SEND from ALL domains and all email aliases, unlimited possibilities for each domain, and I have a lot of domains.
PRESENTLY I GET ALL OF THIS 100% FOR FREE WITH GOOGLE APPS and I am unlimited grandfathered in forever. It allows 100 maximum SEND FROM emails, when I use them all I will just remove some I…
576 votesWe will review our planes and try to make adjustments that will enable more users to afford ProtonMail.
However, this request is impossible to honour due to the way our business model is developed.
Contrary to Google, ProtonMail is not reading its users’ emails for advertising purposes, it does not serve ads, and it does not abuse personal data.
As a result, our only income to maintain and develop the service comes from our users, and not from the advertising market.
Google can offer all of this for free because you are not paying for the product with money, but with your privacy.

encrypted / unencrypted icons
Can you make the grey locked icon and the black unencrypted icon more easily distinguishable?
Maybe leave the grey one as is, and for the unencrypted icon, have the image shown with the lock's shackle swung out and away from the body of the lock?
1 voteThank you for the suggestion. We will attempt to improve the design of the site as we continue to build.

IMAP & POP should not be provided
IMAP and POP should not be provided as then the whole purpose of end to end encryption will fail
1 voteIMAP will be an option feature we will be adding in the future. This feature will maintain the end-to-end encryption ProtonMail is built on.
