the account is restricted in use
Hello everyone, I have a huge problem with proton, if anyone can really tell me how to solve it, I would be very grateful. The bottom line is this: I registered with proton a couple of weeks ago, and then during those two weeks I registered a couple more accounts with proton. He didn't commit any malicious actions, no illegal emails, spam mailings, or anything like that. I need these accounts for my work. So, 2 days ago I tried to log in to these accounts, they were all blocked with the wording: "This account was restricted by an automated…

SMTP for printers to Scan to Email
I would like to be able to setup my proton email for my printer to Scan to Email but this requires SMTP server settings to be entered. I don't have a custom domain for this, just want to be able to use my @proton.me email!
I need to keep my old email just to be able to Scan items to email. Would be great to just use my proton email for this and disable my old email.1 vote -
Allow emails to remain unread unless marked read
Gmail has a feature that allows me to read my emails without them being marked read unless I click the envelope to mark them read.
This allows me to read emails I don't want to reply to yet or that I haven't dealt with yet and they remain unread and visible in my Inbox. Once complete, I can mark the email as read and it disappears from my Unread Inbox.
This also ties into the many requests to have a separate Unread Inbox section (not just a filter). Currently, I have my Inbox so that I only see Unread Emails…

Possibility to disable crypto encoding for emails
Hi. I really need the possibility to disable the crypto encoding for emails in my account. I have reset my password two times, and every time the crypto encoding was gone from my emails.
I'm using my email for normal things and don't need encoding. I just need to be free to reset my password without nothing happening to my emails.
I like Proton for the great design, but don't need encoding. I only need to use Proton in an easy way, like other email services. And being able to reset my password any time without any problems with encoding

Can Proton mail add a button which can delete a email completely?
Sometimes I received bunched of emails, and I have to delete some of them to make sure important emails can be found in one glance. Can the development teams add an button to delete a email completely? Or I have to delete it and completely remove it on Deleted mails.
A Chinese mail provider Tencent QQ Mail have made it and it's very convenient. WIsh relevent developers could consider my suggestion. Thank you very much.1 vote -
Changing your primary creation email (to disable it), in case of a security breach or poor security practices.
Having my primary creation email being involved in a data breach I receive a lot of garbage trying to imitate primary accounts. Poor security practices on my part, but I am unable to disable my main creation email to halt the attempts. It would be nice to change and disable my old email as it would allow my experience to improve and ease my mind with the heavy auditing. I understand it is my fault through my own poor practices but I have had my account for a very long time and it would help a lot. Thank for for…

What happened?
What happened to Proton mail? I has an account a looong time ago, and it was great. Simple, no BS.
Now? looks like *. Full of constant promos to update my account. And the VERY FIRST time I used it to switch over my Apple account, I got a **** Abuse Detection alert and it wouldn't even let me use Proton mail. What a crock. Never using Proton again. Makes Gmail look like king.1 vote -
Option to move email aliasses to other accounts
I accidentally created email aliasses (firstnamelastname@proton.me) for my family members, instead of creating separate Proton accounts for them. All these addresses are now connected to my own account, which shouldn't be the case.
Problem was solved for now by registering new Proton accounts with other email addresses. However, I'd rather have them use the ones I originally created.
Would be great to allow the move of an email alias to another Proton account, obviously in a secure way.

separated email area
I'm using almost 12 different emails on the same domain to separate different parts of my business—my email, communication, travel, contracts, and finances. In the past, I was on Microsoft 365 with shared emails, which allowed me to have specific access to each area. Now, everything is in the same inbox with tags, and it's less convenient. Separated emails area will be nice

Release sieve extensions source code
Sieve is a powerful and much appreciated feature, but trying to implement complex filtering rules on a live mailbox is risky -- especially when you mix in the expire extension.
There is already an open request for better debugging support in the UI (see below), but I realize that might be a lot of work for the few of us that need it.
It would be great if Protonmail could release the source for their extensions. This could be used with dovecot's pigeonhole code, so that we could leverage the already existing sieve-test tool.
I already use this for testing…
