  1. iOS badge notifications just for today's mail.

    Someone else mentioned badges based on Filters so maybe this could be combined. Also, I don't know if iOS offers this option.

    I have over 7,000 unread emails. It would be preferred if the badge only showed emails from Today.

  2. Reply Status Indicator for Emails

    I propose adding a small indicator on the email line in ProtonMail’s inbox to show whether I have responded to an email. While the ‘read’ status is already available, this additional marker would make it easy to see at a glance whether an email has been replied to or left unanswered.

  5. Easy Switch - Gmail - Gmail emails are piling up

    When I delete a message on Proton, why isn't it deleted on Google?
    When I read them, they are still unread on Gmail...
    IMAP allows this. I think POP3 also allows this.
    Or do I have something set up incorrectly somewhere? Can this be influenced somehow?

  6. Don't group e-mails if there is a certain time in between them

    Currently Proton Mail groups e-mails based on sender and subject regardless of when it was sent. This makes it difficult to distinguish between different threads.

    For example, if I order something with my favourite webshop it sends me a generic confirmation mail with the same subject. They are all grouped together.

    My suggestion would be if there is >24 hours between the e-mails, they are treated seperately. Similar to what Gmail also does.

  7. Note Taking in the side of the window

    on the right ribbon where Contact + Calendar + Security Centre are located, it will be good to add a small and simple Note Taking prompt that can help us to input any note from the emails as we read through. It is hopefully simple enough to implement. You can also create it as a stand alone app and offer it with the whole Proton package. Also, a simple Task manager (i.e. list of items to do) will be extremely helpful.

    I send invitations for meetings 2-3 month in advance, and up to 6 month. Now I often have to resend emails to people who did not download the message. Please give us a bit longer to have the emails ...

    Hello everyone, I have a huge problem with proton, if anyone can really tell me how to solve it, I would be very grateful. The bottom line is this: I registered with proton a couple of weeks ago, and then during those two weeks I registered a couple more accounts with proton.   11. SMTP for printers to Scan to Email

    I would like to be able to setup my proton email for my printer to Scan to Email but this requires SMTP server settings to be entered. I don't have a custom domain for this, just want to be able to use my @proton.me email!
    I need to keep my old email just to be able to Scan items to email. Would be great to just use my proton email for this and disable my old email.

  12. Allow emails to remain unread unless marked read

    Gmail has a feature that allows me to read my emails without them being marked read unless I click the envelope to mark them read.

    This allows me to read emails I don't want to reply to yet or that I haven't dealt with yet and they remain unread and visible in my Inbox. Once complete, I can mark the email as read and it disappears from my Unread Inbox.

    This also ties into the many requests to have a separate Unread Inbox section (not just a filter). Currently, I have my Inbox so that I only see Unread Emails…

  13. Possibility to disable crypto encoding for emails

    Hi. I really need the possibility to disable the crypto encoding for emails in my account. I have reset my password two times, and every time the crypto encoding was gone from my emails.

    I'm using my email for normal things and don't need encoding. I just need to be free to reset my password without nothing happening to my emails.

    I like Proton for the great design, but don't need encoding. I only need to use Proton in an easy way, like other email services. And being able to reset my password any time without any problems with encoding

    I use proton mail app on android motorola edge+. In conversation view, there doesn't seem to be a way to collapse a maximized email in the thread.

    Our company and our employees would like to have the option in an e-mail to be able to insert or remove a signature anyway, and preferably the choice of multiple signatures, for example in a different language, or a business or a more informal signature.
