1. How can I activate my First Abu Dhabi Bank debit card if the mobile app is not showing the option?

   Hi everyone. I recently opened an account with First Abu Dhabi Bank while working in the UAE and my debit card arrived a few days ago. I expected the activation process to be simple through the mobile banking app, but when I logged into the app I could see the account details yet I could not find any clear option to activate the new debit card.

   I tried checking the instructions that came with the envelope and they mentioned activating the card through the app or an ATM. The issue is that I have not used FAB services before and the instructions were quite brief. Because of that I am not sure if I missed something during the setup or if the activation needs to be done through an ATM first before the card becomes fully active.

   Since I am still new to the system I am also trying to understand how people usually check their FAB bank balance once the debit card is working. I would prefer a quick way to see the balance occasionally just to confirm that my salary deposit and other transactions are showing correctly.

   If anyone here has gone through the FAB debit card activation process recently I would really appreciate some guidance on what normally works. I would also like to know the easiest way to check the bank balance after everything is activated because I am still getting familiar with how their banking services work.

2. Protonmail desktop should identify links on mouse hover

   Recently got a phishing email that was spoofed to look like a normally reputable site. One of my normal methods to initially verify is to hover my mouse over the links and see if it matches what the link says it is. Tried to do that with Protonmail Desktop and it didn't give me any info. When I logged into my mail account via web browser, however, I could get the actual link as a pop-up message near the mouse.

   Would be a helpful for the desktop app.

3. Filter Based On Environment

   It would be greatly appreciated if there was the ability to filter existing emails based on environment with a custom sieve filter. There are a number of reasons why this could benefit everyone trying to organize their emails as they adapt into Proton Mail.

   Here are my issues with not having this ability:

   Importing a large batch of emails with Easy Switch usually calls for manually applying filters to existing mail.
   This means all my emails in the trash are relabeled and clutter my label filters. I now have to either delete the trash permanently or move the emails out and back into the trash to remove the labels again.

   This problem extends to my archived mail. I don't want to relabel them after they have just been sorted into the archive. Not having the ability to avoid labeling these adds them back into the "unarchived" labels I just removed.

   I know that this is possible because it is provided by default to avoid the spam inbox. This concept should really be expanded upon.

   Some extra details, I don't use custom folders at all and only custom labels. This is due to the fact that the ability to have a combined inbox is lost if you use folders. All mail is not sufficient because that includes sent mail and archived mail which isn't the same as a combined inbox. I think it would be beneficial to include the ability to exclude archived mail from other inboxes just like you can with trash and spam. The above labeling issue could also be resolved with having the ability to remove archived or trash/spam mail from a label filter.

   I don't want all this, just looking for anyway to keep archive mail in the archive only and trash in the trash only. This includes out of other labels.

4. Reduce ProtonMail app PIN attempts to logout.

   The app allows you to enter an incorrect PIN 20 times before automatically logging you out. It should be like Proton Pass and limit you to only 3-5 attempts before logging out.

5. Make the “Proton Mail footer” smaller.

   I see that you can apply text formatting to the signature, but you can’t make the “Proton Mail footer” smaller. I don’t mind that it appears, but I don’t want it to be the same size as the rest of the email text. It seems reasonable, since we aren’t paid to advertise your service. If I can’t set the size I want for it, the only option is to remove it.

6. It would be nice if I could also select the default "inbox" folder as the parent folder, so I could place folders I have created within it.

7. Fix swipe action functionality on mobile

   I customized my swipe controls: swipe right to archive, swipe left to delete. But if I start to swipe left and notice the red trash icon, then swipe right instead, I see the green archive icon but the message still gets deleted instead of archived. Same in reverse. You need to make it respect whatever action I do before lifting my finger, regardless of if I started a different motion before that

8. Edit/delete both Current and Future events for a recurring event series

   Google Calendar has long supported the ability to choose whether modifications to an event in a recurring series will affect the current event only, or the current event and all future events.    Workflows I wish I could do but don't think I can right now (or it is difficult to do):

   • Delete an event from a recurring event, plus all future events in the recurring event. Eg, I have a recurring event, but I no longer need it going forward.
   • Edit an event in a recurring event series, and have any changes to it apply to it and all future events (but not earlier events). Eg, The meeting's name is going to change, or maybe I need to move its standard date/time to a different date/time, or change its frequency going forward, but I don't want to modify past events.
