Private, local email counters in Mobile & Desktop apps
It would be great to have a basic monthly email counter (Sent/Received totals) in Proton Mail, stored strictly within the Mobile and Desktop apps for Account Oversight.
Simple & Privacy-First Implementation:
Local App Storage: The metrics can be stored locally using the app's internal database on iOS, Android, and Desktop.
Data Persistence: Because it's saved locally within the app, the data remains safe and persistent on the device without needing to sync with the cloud.
Zero Server Overhead: No data is stored on Proton servers, and no changes to server infrastructure are required.
100% Private: Since both calculation and storage…

Snooze on App
I honestly have no idea why something as basic as a snokze feature is on the web version but not the app. The lack of standardization across platforms is, at this point, inexcusable. Snooze for all

Feature Request: Optional "Action PIN" for Sending or Permanently Deleting Emails (Desktop / Web)
I would like to propose an optional safety feature (opt-in) for the Proton Mail web app and desktop client: a user-defined Action PIN required before sensitive actions are performed, such as:
- Sending an email
- Permanently deleting emails (or emptying the Trash)
- Accessing the contact list
Why this is useful:
If a user temporarily leaves their computer unlocked in an office, shared space, internet cafe, or public area, anyone who walks by can currently send emails, permanently delete them, or access the contact list. An optional PIN would serve as a vital last line of defense against unauthorized physical access. How…

Availability options - have default weekly reoccurring schedule and modify select days.
I would like to see an improvement to the weekly reoccurring schedule. I like that as a base already, but would like to go in and modify select days to add a remove available times as needed.
Would be very similar to what proton has for repeating events in our calendar - we already have repeating events, but can still go in and modify individual instances of it.1 vote -
Collapsible Folder Management
After clicking on the "Manage your folders" icon right next to the + add new folders button, the user is taken to the Folders and labels settings page which shows all folders with subfolders indented.
The idea proposes that the parent folders have a collapsible feature to hide away the folder's subfolders to make folder management less cumbersome. The idea would be akin to how the Windows File Explorer's leftmost sidebar handles folders.1 vote -
Ajouter au calendrier la possibilité d'indiquer un temps de trajet pour les différents évènement

Send email to alias from any address of a user without whitelisting or improve whitelisting process
Currently it seems to be impossible to send email to existing alias contact address from email which is not owning the alias. It results in delivery failure email "Attempt to use your alias site.name.slush525@passmail.net from secondaryme@pm.me"
This is problematic, because while you are automatically suggested previously used alias email address inside the recipient field (TO) of a new email form (that is GOOD), you do not remember which address of yours owns that alias in order to bother selecting it in the FROM field.
IMO Proton should automatically use correct FROM address on the background without failing with delivery…

Self Destruct improvement - set number of days
The problem:
Since there is no mass self destruct option, it has to be done one by one, and setting a date and time value for each mail can be a hassle.A possible solution:
An option to set self destruct by number of days (possibly hours) would be a huge but easy improvement. If the UI remembered the last used day (or hour) value, it would be even better.

Automatically prompt to file sent emails
Automatically prompt to file sent emails. It would be very useful to be able to file sent emails as they are sent. An option to prompt sent emails as they go would help keep important emails received and sent in the same place.

Enable contact group membership even without an e-mail
Groups are useful as sets of contacts even though they may not have [yet] an e-mail address. Currently it is not possible to add a contact to a group if they don't have an address, so I use fake e-mail addresses for those, but this is not very consistent...

Bridge: Don’t Terminate Connection When Quitting App
When using CMD+Q with the macOS Proton Bridge app this also terminates the connection. In my opinion the connection should stay alive (sometimes you accidentally close the app window with CMD+Q instead of CMD+W) or at least it should warn you with a message.

Always On "Unread" Filter
Hello,
I have rules set up to move incoming emails to different folders.
The ‘unread’ filter on iOS used to stay active in your version 6 (I think).
I’d switch from the inbox to other folders and the ‘unread’ emails would still be there.Since version 7, I have to manually reactivate the filter every time I switch between folders or return to the inbox.
The user experience is rather poor.Would it be possible to restore the ‘unread’ filter so that it remains active when switching between folders?
Thank you in advance for considering this.

Useless for a desktop user - Can't be used offline
What a letdown when you discover that your desktop app is nothing more than a copy of your website. That you can't make it so that you can check your existing emails and calendar offline is so bad that I can't find words. Then you really should have clear information that your app is only a copy of your website and cannot be used offline.

My default desktop calendar view is MONTH.
When I create a calendar entry the calendar switches to DAY view.
When I have completed my entry I have to manually re- select MONTH view from the top menu. Can you please make the calendar view return to whatever the default view is?1 vote -

Calendar view is not optimal
The best option for a clear calendar view is missing. The ideal view would be a 3-week view—with the first week always in the first row. Only then do you get a good (3-week) monthly overview: the days are larger, wider, and easier to read, and there’s more text in the header. Anyone who wants to switch to the daily or weekly view can still do so as before. Google Calendar lets you set it up that way, and in EPIM, I suggested it and it was implemented with even more options. It’s not enough to simply have everything (like…

Bug or Feature? - IOS calendar app defaults calendar entries to :15 or :45 rather than :00 or :30 minute segments, requiring manual adjust
In my IOS Proton calendar app, when i go to create a new calendar entry, routinely, proton 'sets' the time on the quarter or three quarter hour, instead of on the hour or at the half. I'm not clear why this happens, as i'm 'clicking' the center of an hour block, but the new calendar entry comes up as 15 or 45, forcing me to scroll to the 00 or 30 depending on need. Not sure if this is a feature that's overly sensitive to finger placement, or a defect creating extra work. I rarely book anything on 15 or…

Soft wrap in email composer
It's 2026 and Proton Mail still doesn't have a simple text wrap or line-width setting in the web composer. I'm writing on a large monitor, and when I compose emails, the text stretches across my entire screen. It's hard to read and makes editing paragraphs frustrating.
This is not an advanced feature request. Line wrapping or the ability to constrain the compose area width is fundamental functionality that should exist in literally any email client. Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail — all of them handle this without complaint.
I understand Rich Text mode wraps to the window edge, but that doesn't…
