Split address mode - separate emails into different inboxes
Separate email addresses are for separate things so it would be helpful to just click an email address from the menu and see only those emails sent to that specific ProtonMail address.
Multiple inboxes.
We are reviewing this idea to get closer to a clean inbox for all our users. We will let you know once we have more updates

The bridge works fine, but I use mobile about 20 times more frequently than my computer. I also don't want to use the bridge, due to the fact that it means downloading emails to my computer, making my computer the weak point in the security link, unless I jump through extensive hoops to encrypt my system drive as well. I'd rather work 100% in a secured environment.

I agree, I just upgraded through the black Friday special today and then I discovered this flaw, it's not a small flaw, this is huge! What's the point of having alias emails (for different purposes obviously), then they all wind up in in the same inbox!

The mobile app is where I use Proton the most, and it's impossible to filter by only one alias unless it's set as my default. This is probably the only thing that keeping it from being a gmail replacement for me.

This can be with the bridge, but I will like this for the web client and mobile apps.

I give out different alias email addresses for specific reasons, but they seem to all end up in same single inbox!
There's A LOT I love about Protonmail & ProtonVPN, however one of the main reasons I became I Paid user was to due to the alias addresses. But what is the point if they all end up in the same cluttered inbox?!?
PLEASE consider this simple convenience for your customers, or if it's just me I would greatly appreaciate help on how to seperate them.
Thamk you. Sincerely, Kelly -

I have multiple emails/domains and recently switched from G Suite to ProtoMail. I'm liking it for the most part - but the biggest annoyance (albeit I may be missing a setting?) is the lack of organizing features. I hate that my personal email I use for webmarketers is next to my official personal email with my name which is also next to my dating app email, etc. There should be a way to color code emails by address or choose an icon for each address. You could do many different things to solve this.

Why we don't have separated inboxes for every aliases we have ? At the moment, every mails for every alias are dumped in the same inbox.
I paid for ProtonMail to get rid of my 3 email provider AND Thunderbird. Now I still need Thunderbird to organize all my emails.
Awesome work for everything else, tho.

One of my main reasons to upgrade to a paid account is the possibility to have my own domain, and I expected that with 5 addresses I could assign one to each of our kids. Not getting a separate log-in and password per address under our domain is pretty disappointing. Please add this!

I would also like this feature. My husband and I both use the same protonmail account with several addresses- I want to see my email and our joint email address but not his. I can accomplish this in OS mail but not webmail.

100% - the main thing that is missing to protonmail for me. Just like bridge does, but in the mobile app and online

If the web interface and the mobile app has something like multi accounts in the bridge that would be awesome.

Multiple users still means under Professional that my wife would have a user on our custom domain as well as her separate ProtonMail Plus account. No thanks. Both accounts should be able to hook into the same domain.

I would like to have the choice between Combined Addresses Mode or Split Addresses Mode, when using ProtonMail Web & the apps.
It's a feature already available on the Bridge, so it shouldn't be that difficult to have it here too. Thanks

I know i can filter emails to direct emails for each alias, but i cannot then move emails to different folders for storage under that alias' folder.
If each alias had its own inbox, then i could create folders under each inbox to keep the size of my inbox reasonable and stay better organized. -

it´s been 2 years and this has STILL not been addressed???

Doesn´t matter if you pay them or not, you still get all mail in one inbox. I am on the visionary plan and all that really gets me is slightly more storage (still low) and my own domain (yay?).
It´s been a year and I am disapointed, i expected this to develop beyond a basic, unrefined mail client into something like gmail.
God knows I dont want to migrate my email again but with no communication from protonmail and no idea what they are planning or even if they are planning any significant improvements, I am out.
I am looking for alternatives again,

I don't see much added value in this, on the contraty, I love unified inbox. There's a sort of solution for you, that does the main thing: just create three inbox folders and set up filters that sort it based on the domain.

when an account has multiple email addresses, the ability to view emails sent to each email inbox separately rather than aggregating them together. Hotmail allows this when one has multiple email addresses.

I love the Idea, it would be really useful those who really need it, I don't how ever.

Just the ability to separate would be nice, instead of paying for two plus accounts. Some stuff in my personal email I don't want seen when I have my business email open in front of co-workers.
