Android App: "View entire message" jumps to the top instead of continuing from the current reading position
Description:
The Problem:
In the Proton Mail Android app, long emails (especially newsletters and subscription emails) are automatically shortened. When I click the "View entire message" button at the bottom, the app abruptly jumps to the very top of the email instead of staying where I was reading or expanding in place. This completely breaks the reading flow and is very frustrating.
Current Behavior:

Allow more than three draft emails to be open
I often hit the limit of 3 open draft emails in Proton Mail. This is really annoying. You're working on different emails and a new email comes in, you need to respond, and you can't! Until you close one of your existing open drafts. This is horrible UI, horrible usability. We need to be able to edit at least 5 at once (preferably no limit at all).
Thanks for all that you've already done to make Proton Mail pretty good, it's appreciated.

Correo recordatorio de calendar
Mi propuesta es que cuando se crea un evento en el calendario, y en dicho evento se añade un recordatorio mediante correo electrónico, en lugar de que ese correo te envíe un enlace para acceder al calendario, o bien sustituyendo ese enlace, o bien como complemento del mismo, apareciese el título que se le asignó al evento en el momento de crearlo. La mayor parte de las veces, con esa visualización es más que suficiente. El tener que acceder obligatoriamente al calendario, es a mi modo de ver, una verdadera pérdida de tiempo.

close a pdf does not close mail
When you read a pdf in the mail desktop app when you close the window with macos red cross, it close mail app.

Please enable notifications on android through websocket or Sunup. Proton markets itself as a privacy consious provider. I don't think it's appropriate or acceptable to rely on Google Play Services (UnifiedPush / FCM) as the sole or mandatory method for push notifications on Android.

Option to Add Email to Existing Contact
I’m finally on browser exploring Contacts that’s only accessible on browser apparently (boo hiss!) Awhile back I was to be able to add or edit contacts within the iOS app. Please restore this! ^_^
Sorry, but onto my improvement suggestion! Please give us the option to ‘add email to existing contact’! When I tap to add an email address within an email, it only gives me the options to ‘add new contact’ or ‘copy.’ This addition would save a few extra steps to add or update contact details. Pls and thnx for your consideration! ^_^

LibreJS compliance
It would be great if Proton Mail was usable without JavaScript or using JavaScript that is compliant with LibreJS. It's not currently recommended by the FSF because of this. https://www.fsf.org/resources/webmail-systems

There are 112 page of ideas, but how old are they?
When does Proton review them and add their comments? 95% are just left lying there with only the number of votes. It is not very conducive to leaving more comments.

Dual / Multiple Time Zone View
Please add a simple toggle or an optional second time-zone bar to the calendar view.
Often scheduling events with people in other time zones requires annoying mental math or switching tabs to check conversions and can be easy to make mistakes or get frustrated when the clocks change.
A second time zone on the left of the main calendar can help. Other apps do this with a "sticky" secondary timezone label at the top of the sidebar. For example, you could permanently see both your local time (GMT+1) and your colleague's time (GMT+7) side-by-side.

Mail inbox could use space more effective
The current mail UI is using a lot of space, but not very efficient. As a lot of my mail contacts don’t use avatars, switching this feature off should also disable avatars with a character and a color.
Using a label uses 1 line, instead of adding it to the “from” line. Attachments also use one line. A mail with a sender, subject, (first line of mail), label and attachments takes 4 (or 5) lines!!

Favorite Folders in top left side panel
In both mobile and on web, I would like to control what folders are on the left, especially at the top. Outlook allows one to add folders as favorites and the favorites (if you have any) are at the top of the left side panel.

Please add all functionality in the main mail app to mobile (snooze, etc)
The descrepancy in functionality berween PM instances has become problematic for anyone who rotates through thwm daily due to workflow. As a side note, being able to access my paid account on the windows app but not my free account is ridiculous.

Drag Labels to Messages
I’d love to see a more fluid drag-and-drop workflow for labels in Proton Mail.
In list view, drag a label from the left sidebar onto a message to apply that label. If multiple messages are selected, dropping the label onto one of the selected messages would apply it to all selected messages. When viewing an individual email, dragging a label onto the open message would apply it there as well.
This would make organizing mail much faster and more intuitive, especially for users who manage workflows heavily with labels. It also feels like a very natural desktop-style interaction that many…

Google Play emails remain broken light in dark mode on Android
When Proton Mail for Android uses the dark theme with dark styling enabled for email content, emails from Google Play remain displayed with a light background. Time zone switch should include switching it for events
When I change the time zone it shouldn't change my event times based on how many hours just changed on my phone, if I have an event at 2pm, it's still going to be at 2pm but once I switch time zones I have to manually switch each event to that time zone and time as well or it's the wrong time. There should be a choice to make all events change time zones when the calendar does so events stay at the correct times

ICS import fails when VEVENT uses custom TZID ("Customized Time Zone")

Importing an .ics file into Proton Calendar fails when a VEVENT references a custom timezone (e.g. "Customized Time Zone").
This appears to happen when the TZID parameter is used directly in event fields.

Allow All Mail to be managed through the Bridge.
First let me say I love protonmail and thank you for providing the bridge. I've recently started a business and the bridge allows me to manage all my various email addresses in one place.
ChatGPT told me that managing "All Mail" through Thunderbird/Bridge was purposely not allowed.
Could this be revisited? I need to hop between two interfaces to keep protonmail cleaned up.

Encryption of subject line and other metadata for PGP - Implement RFC 9788
On August 2025 the IETF published RFC 9788.
This is a standard suggesting a way of encrypting metadata of e-mails like the subject.This provides a mechanism of improving privacy while keeping compatibility with PGP.
