  1. Group email forwarding

    Mail forwarding would be a useful feature for business accounts. However it seems that it causes problems with encryption. So why don't you do what Tutanota - aka your biggest rival - is doing and add, what they have dubbed, "Group" account. This allows you to create a group let's say "sales@---.com". Then you can add users to this group. So now when a message is sent to the group mail address (aka. sales) it is sent to all members in that group AND they can all respond through the sales email, to reply to the original sender!…

  3. Toolbar across platforms on the same position (bottom/top)

    Have the toolbar (the one including the Delete button) on the web and mobile in the same place. In the web version it's located at the top of the screen, IOS has it in the bottom.

  4. P-mail's android client. Be able to customize the audio alert?

    Right now when I get a new email the phone goes 'text message' which is usually for text messages. So it's confusing. I'd like to change the audio alert so I use another .mp3

    Hello, I am interested in having an auto import feature or a scheduled import feature.

    This would be in conjunction with the ability to auto tag automated imports or remove automated import tags via the filters.

  7. Archive/Trash thread hotkeys

    Currently there are hotkeys for archiving and trashing an email but they are specific to the email you are looking at and not the whole thread. There are also UI buttons when you mouse over a thread to archive and delete which does perform the operation on all emails in the thread.

    The proposal is to map keyboard shortcuts shift+a and shift+t to the functionality the UI buttons do to the thread.

  8. Sync color for Apple Mail flags

    When selecting a colored flag in Apple Mail on Mac, the flag is synced to other devices. However, if I select a flag of a different color than standard, for example green, then the synced flag is still the default color. Please sync the color choice as well as the flag itself

  9. GoBD-conformant archiving for business accounts

    In Germany, businesses are required to immutably archive all e-mails (except if they contain personal data unrelated to business operations, in which case they must be deleted).
    The guidelines for this are specified in the GoBD (Grundsätze zur ordnungsmäßigen Führung und Aufbewahrung von Büchern, Aufzeichnungen und Unterlagen in elektronischer Form).
    German mail providers offering services for businesses therefore usually offer conformant archiving services, e.g. IONOS: https://www.ionos.de/office-loesungen/email-archivierung
    We are unhappy with our current E-Mail service and would love to switch to ProtonMail, but are unable to do so as long as this is not possible.

    Proton Mail is available to work with standard email client but it would be nice if it also worked with Synology MailPlus desktop and mobile clients

  13. Split address mode - separate emails into different inboxes

    Separate email addresses are for separate things so it would be helpful to just click an email address from the menu and see only those emails sent to that specific ProtonMail address.

  15. Create calendar event from email or other platforms - like when you purchase a flight ticket

    Would be nice to be able to create an event from an email or website like you do with google.
    An example is when I purchase a flight ticket and the receipt arrive in gmail, from there I have the option to add the "flight" automatically to google calendar.

  16. Week view for iOS calendar app

    The iOS calendar app only has day and month view, but no week view. Is there any plan to add a week view (Monday to Sunday), like the web client has?

  17. Hebrew app language interface and better RTL support

    Please support Hebrew language interface and right to left languages properly. RTL support and Hebrew language is missing across all Proton apps and services. All major languages are already supported, RTL in LTR interface is a huge problem and should be a priority.

  18. Implement a simple Focused / Other inbox split

    I love Proton Mail but I cannot move all my businesses and main personal email over as I need a way to separate all the spam/notifications/updates from my need to see email. Can you please implement in a secure/private way, a Focused inbox where email sent from my contacts (for example) is routed there, and all other email is routed to an Other folder. This would make managing mail possible.

  19. Allow the use of other email addresses within the ProtonMail app with a unified Inbox

    Implement an option to use other emails (i.e. Gmail, Outlook) within the ProtonMail app to have one unified Inbox, allowing users to send normal emails through those addresses whilst still having encryption available for ProtonMail addresses (this is a convenience thing)

  20. simplelogin (mail alias)

    Ive noticed a thing or two.
    When using simplelogin mail alias.
    you send over public key unless you disable it.
    Would it be possible for Simplelogin to auto disable public key so you truly send mail with alias without handing out pgp keys with actual mail in it?
    Or rename the public keys or generate a "simplelogin" pgp key?
    OR simple remove pgp public keys when sending via alias?
