Password protected Mail Bridge - Still actually need
I think the original post is still a good request. Actually, on a share familly home computer, you must keep all user connected to bridge to be able to send or receive email from IMAP/SMTP client.
There is no problem if the account connected is only for one email address, but if you use alias or custom domain with multiple inbox, you do not want all those mailboxes available to the IMAP/SMTP client. Actually, someone can add an IMAP account to access those mailboxes without authorization because one of the mailbox need to be accessible anytime and so the proton…

Share and collaborate on emails.
There is a wonderful feature in Spark and Bluemail that allows the user to share an email with a pre-approved contact in lieu of forwarding and going back and forth that way. When you share an email with another user, a chat opens up in which the two users can discuss the content of the email without having to forward and comment in a new email. The absence of this feature is the ONLY reason my wife and I haven’t switched to protonmail desktop as our primary email client.

Support pkpass
With support for pkpass files in Proton Email, users could store and manage their passes (such as boarding passes, loyalty cards, and event tickets) directly in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, for example.

Import Mail Files from Mac OS Mail App
To make best use of proton mail app I need the chance import my existing mail archives - the files I have created in Mail on my MacStudio). Not being able to have my mail archives accessible renders proton mail meaningless. I cannot work if my old mails are not available in the system.

Proton Calendar: Set date by day, month and year
When creating an event in Proton Calendar, it would be great to be able to select the day, month and year separately. On the web / desktop app, you can scroll through by month which is somewhat acceptable, but on iOS, you have to scroll day by day. Very cumbersome if you are trying to add an event a year or more into the future.

Calendar delete invitations on iOS
Invitations can only be responded to in Proton Calendar on iOS. I would like to just delete the invitation from my Calendar altogether, without response.

option to reject any email which is not encrypted
It would be great to add an opt-in setting to automatically bounce unencrypted incoming emails, with a polite auto-reply informing the sender that this inbox requires encryption.
For users who chose Proton specifically for privacy, receiving plaintext email is a risk, not just an annoyance. This would give power users full control over their security posture. No other mainstream provider offers this. It aligns directly with Proton's mission.

Add calendar regions
It would be nice to be able to mark regions in the calendar and be able to share these. There are plenty of times that no event or meeting is happening, but I do want to let people know of my working hours for example.

Android mail app open image attachment needs to default app
On the Android app, every time I open an image attachment I'm offered multiple apps to open that image, I just want it to use a single default app I configure.
Ideally if the email is from a specific address then I can default the app that is used to open the image.

Year/Multi -Month View with Toggle-able Events
Allow for longer planning views up to a year on one page. One year would be pretty small on most screens, but not all. 4 months in two columns of two would be usable on most laptop screens though.
Then if you allow events to be toggled on and off, this would aid in scheduling out long term. For instance, if you had, say 12 possible events/conferences/schools/etc you could attend in a year, many of which had multiple iterations, you could more easily visualize how to tetris a schedule out of your options.

time entry
In proton calendar
Current time entry format is HH : MM. User must manually type the colon " : " when entering time.
Desire the ability to enter time without typing the colon " : ".
System shall automatically interpret 0800 as 08:00.
Thank you!

Affichage Calendar
Dans l'application Calendar, il serait utile d'avoir le niveau d'affichage "Année" (au-delà du "Mois") afin de pouvoir accéder plus rapidement à une date (très) éloignée

Android smart watch support for Mail
One of the main things that's preventing me from fully moving over to Proton is that I don't have the ability to read my Proton Mail on my Android smart watch. This is extremely important for my every day work. I know there's is another request for Apple Watch support but it didn't mention Android smart watches so this is a Android specific request, please.

Resizing for 14'' screen and smaller.
On a 14'' screen my calendar only shows 2 events max. If there is 3 events for the same day then only one of the 3 is shown and the second line says "2 others" despite the fact that there is plenty of space left in the "day square".
Reducing padding of each event could help showing more events per day.
Also, when on a 14'' the line showing the days of the week also takes a lot of space.2 votes -
Androlid App shortcuts
With Gmail and Google Calendar on Android, I was able to tap and hold the app icon to draft a new email or add a new event. I'd love to have similar functionality on Proton Mail and Proton Calendar. Thank you!!

Avoid threading transactional emails
I noticed that transactional emails sometimes end up getting turned into threads. For example, my barber sends an email with the subject line "Your appointment is confirmed" each time I book a haircut, and each of those emails becomes part of a thread with a confirmation for every haircut I've booked since I started using Proton.
I'd love to see Proton keep transactional emails separate rather than placing them into threads, similar to how Gmail handles such emails. Thank you!

Scalable folder/label browser
I can't believe not anyone has mentioned this, so I might miss some special button in the UI. If not, please Proton people, make the folder/slash/label browser scalable. I can hardly decipher longer names of the labels and folders as is. Nothing fancy, but that would be an imense quality of life upgrade to me!
Thanks :)

minimize
option to minimize left sidebar; it's awful that ~15% of screen real estate is claimed by folder names, when icons would suffice

Seperate notification for mail versus calendar
The current behaviour is all email and calendar events cause a notification, or none of them do.
Desired separation between a calendar event notification and email arrival notification.
Particular case example: I do not want to be notified of the arrival of every email. I do want to be alerted about calendar events. At present, I must be notified of all emails or I will not be reminded about calendar events.
This problem would be solved with

Allow configuring an optional "activity" time window for Proton Calendar
It would be interesting to have a configuration option which statically excludes a given single (night)time window (or alternatively provide it the other way around as an activity time window) from being displayed in the calendar UI.
Most people don't have e.g. any appointments between 11 pm and 6 am, yet it is taking up valuable screen estate.
Uncluttering the UI by just showing the relevant part of the day and save people from scrolling over always empty rows in the calendar would be a very useful feature.
