Ability to remove/delete attachments
Attachments are not always worth keeping, so please add ability to delete selected attachments as an alternative to simply downloading them.

There is a similar request here: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-feedback/suggestions/18356443-delete-attached-images-from-received-email
You should probably add together the votes on the two of them.

Best to put an "x" on each file icon, so the attachments can be deleted one by one, as needed.

Just put a little "x" on each attachment icon, so we can delete them individually as needed.
This is so basic. Please.

I'd also love this feature.
Attachments really start to eat into your space limit when they are added to email chains that have multiple people replying to all. So, for example, if your brother attaches a video of his kid's birthday party and sends it to a large email distribution, everyone who replies-all adds another copy of that video to your inbox. this can quickly add up, and their is no way to delete to duplicate videos without deleting the whole email chain.
This special case could also be fixed by only storing one copy of each attachment per email chain (You could use a hash to determine this). -

Save space on your server for both you and us. Still have a tag that shows name of file attached and that it was sent, and perhaps date deleted?

Yes, this service would be a great addition.

The ability to delete selected attachments while keeping the text of an email is a feature that is sorely missing from Protonmail. It would be hugely appreciated if your company could implement this!

I support this idea as well.

That should be there, it's not as straightforward as I'd like. It should be easier, I agree.

Attachments box might benefit from an option to remove a selected attachment. I added the wrong attachment and then had to delete the draft email and start again.

You can do this in Outlook. Nice if proton can add this too.

I support this feature. I have Protonmail plus and plan to use it regularly. However, people often send large attachments that tend to occupy mailbox space. Professional email users face this often, when exchanging multiple revisions of slide decks and comments. It would be very useful to keep the email text while deleting attachments.
