    It would be nice if more countries like Liechtenstein and Monaco could be included as well as a chinese VPN Server. (like Cyberghost and Surfshark have) :)

    Currently, I cannot stream videos from mitele.es (it is hosted in Spain).

  6. Enable Filters With Smart Routing

    I am located in a country that has some servers with Smart Routing and some without, however, when I click on fast connection, it seems to do so completely randomly, and the difference in latency is brutal (5ms x 200ms).

    The program already shows which servers use this, but to avoid connecting to a specific server every single time, my request is very simple: I would like one of the filters to be a simple "Yes/No" to include Smart Routing them when connecting.

    Oh yes, please also improve the automatic search to take latency into account, because "fastest server" is…

    Bonjour,

    Lorsque je suis en voyage, je perds la capacité de mes différents devices (principalement laptop & téléphone) de communiquer entre eux, ce que je peux faire lorsque je suis "à la maison" avec mon routeur wifi.

    Du coup, je me demandais s'il était raisonablement possible de recréer cette facilité avec mes devices connectés à Proton VPN (avec le même compte Proton par exemple). Un genre de "Personal VPN" for all my stuff wherever I am. Ce qui pourrait aussi permettre de toujours laisser connecté le VPN, même à la maison.

  10. Android: work profiles with VPN possible

    at my work I have the possibility to activate a work profile to get all the business stuff I need, f.e. microsoft teams, outlook, etc. This works good as long as I stay in a country which is accepted. If not it would be blocked due to security reasons. If proton VPN could be use for work profiles, too, I could activate my work profiles to get access even in countries which are not secure.

    It should be a possibility in settings to activate/deactivate for work profile. Actually the traffic of work apps doesnt go through VPN.

  11. Connect to another owned endpoint running Proton VPN instead of a Proton server

    Have the ability to link two endpoints running Proton VPN together instead of exiting at a Proton server. For example, my computer is running Proton VPN and I would use my cellphone's Proton VPN to establish a direct tunnel between my devices, thus giving me acces to my computer. The Proton server would merely act as the initial connection broker.
    This would be an alternative usage of Proton VPN, similar to what zero-tier is doing.

  14. Provide better control over Server Selection

    I would like to be able to build a Profile containing a personalized list of Preferred Servers and a list of Excluded servers.
    I have found that certain servers meet my needs better than others.
    I mostly prefer US based servers close to my actual location to minimize latency.
    I have also found that I DO NOT want to use ANY server located in Virginia (VA), because of VA laws requiring ID verification on certain sites. To that I say - ***** Virginia!

  15. Improving the IOS app

    The android version of Proton VPN looks amazing, yet the iOS app is old, buggy and layed out weirdly. Please update the iOS app to something of similar standard as the android app.

  16. Contact Ubiquiti to set up Proton Products (VPN) to be recognized Apps.

    I use a Ubiquiti Unifi Router. If I block an App Group (e.g. Tunneling..) it blocks ALL VPNs including Proton VPN. Then I want to Allow the Proton VPN App through the router. However, Ubiquiti does not recognize the Proton VPN as an App.

    So my only solution is to allow ALL VPNs through the router... NOT WHAT I want to do. I am a fan of BLOCK All and ALLOW some!

    Please consider contacting Ubiquity to set up all of your products as recognizable Apps by their Unifi software on routers.

    Add server in Wisconsin. I cannot access local sports etc. This is a huge deterrent to using Proton in Wisconsin. Madison or Milwaukee would be ideal.

  19. VPN Update - Make More Secure

    It is really rather worrying that under Windows and presumably macOS - though not a big problem under Linux - Proton VPN disables itself during updates, leaving the OS to do as it pleases unless Permanent Killswitch is enabled. There are better ways of performing an update.

    Ideally, the update would be downloaded and then all networking shut down while the app resets. Only when the app is up and running again would networking be enabled again and the previous VPN connection re-established.   20. Tiered VPN plan (with 3 country choices + free servers)

    Like ProtonMail, it would likely attract more people who'd choose to pay for a VPN plan (including myself) if there was a tiered VPN pricing plan coupled with the ProtonMail plan (e.g. a ProtonMail + VPN plan with access to 1-3 servers vs. access to all servers available). One that you can pay less per month than the full VPN + Mail plan (7.99€), but more than the ProtonMail stand-alone plan (3.29€). A plan where you get to choose 3 specific country VPN servers that you have access to, instead of a plan that allows all the countries available.
