    shocked and disappointed that this isn't a thing, especially after seeing chatter about this from an entire year ago... pretty sure I could implement this in a small number of weeks if I were a developer/engineer for Proton :\

    Yes, as a full Proton subscriber and user this would be amazing. It would basically allow me to cancel Dropbox, save that money and have everything in the Proton family!.

    I use only PCs with Linux both at home and at work. Proton Drive, as it is now, is totally useless. A client for automatic synchronization of files and folders is essential!

    I would really like to use proton drive to store my most sensitive documents, currently I have to rely on Dropbox for the same.

    I'd like to move away from Dropbox and Google Drive. Both of those services allow me to mount files on my Fedora Linux host but Proton Drive does not. That puts a fork in the eye of my migration, so to speak.

    I'm going to go full-Linux for personal use soon and I would like to make use of Proton Drive for syncing across my devices. A Linux client (both GUI and headless) is critically needed for Proton Drive.

    I am also switching away from Google ecosystem, but not having Linux file sync functionality prevents me from making use of Drive.
    I am also paying a lot of money for Proton services, and so far it's not been an easy ride.

    I`m thinking about switching from the Google ecosystem to the Proton one. Being able to mount Proton Drive remotely on my Ubuntu Linux machine is the game-changer that will make me do it. As otehr users have correctly pointed out, a Flatpak would be the appropriate way of implementing this.

    Looking forward to a linux flatpak... We have the bridge and VPN, now we need drive!
