Recently been switching back and forth from a Windows laptop when away from home to my Linux desktop computer while working on multiple files. The Windows desktop app helps a lot, and now I would love not to have to sync manually from/to the web app when on Linux since it's my main environment.
Not sure I want to delve into the Rclone workaround for now. I guess an official and documented Proton support for Rclone would work for me until we get an actual desktop app.

Much need in the Android app at least, use cases:
- some people somehow like to send emails typed in a fancy cursive font, reduced to a tiny and unreadable size in Android (had to copy and paste in my notes app to read it)
- some html newletters are incorrectly displayed in dark mode when a colored background is applied in the email embedded html, i.e. text switches to white because of dark mode, but an html yellow background is left unchanged

Agree, browsing emails is really tedious. A quick fix (at least UX-wise, i.e. not requiring to add extra buttons) would be to allow swiping the subject area left or right to browse emails.

I've been a happy paying Proton user for more than 6 years including a Proton Unlimited plan for the last two years which I recently renewed. It may be the last time. I might also downgrade to Mail Plus, use the leftover credit for future Mail Plus plan renewals, and subscribe to another service that has a Linux sync client. No Proton Drive sync on Linux is increasingly becoming a show stopper.
