Linux Client
Proton Drive really needs the ability to sync desktop files automatically. This post focuses on a Linux client for Proton Drive.

I am running Ubuntu Linux for my daily use and keep all my work and private files on my Linux OS.
When I go to the system backup option, I can choose between:
- Google Drive
- Network location
- Local DiskIt would be great to be able to synchronize my personal files straight into my ProtonDrive and keep them up to date via either the integrated backup tool in Ubuntu or a desktop app that can synchronize my personal folders to ProtonDrive.
I cannot speak to the architecture of other Linux distros as I have insufficient knowledge of them.

... and for Windows users. Have been trying to make 3rd party file-syncing apps work with Drive; no luck so far. Thanks!

Bonus with this feature: support symbolic links. This used to work with Dropbox, works at the creation of files with MEGA (but not when their content is updated) and would be very useful to increase the integration of ProtonDrive with the user environment, without risking the loss of access to files in case of connection drop.

I know ProtonDrive is still very new (in beta even!). Drag and drop is fine for now but I'd love to see a sync client so I can save files locallyt and have them push up to the ProtonDrive storage :)
