Can't believe Proton don't see the value. This is apparently their core belief, but they don't support it??? I can't fully commit to Proton until I have a synch drive to Linux.

it's the only application that's missing so I can move to Linux full time - even if it's a very basic Linux client to start.

Another year, still no Linux support. Disappointing, may have to downgrade my plan as there is no point paying for features I cannot use.

Proton Drive will continue to be fairly useless to me until there's a Linux app.

I am a long time Visionary user of Proton. I move between Windows, Android, and Ubuntu Linux. It would be extremely valuable to be able to move and share files securely between all three systems. Please implement a Linux version of Proton Drive.

For making unencrypted backups on external harddisks you need locally synchronized data. With the end auf Windows 10 lots of PCs will shift to Linux.

As I was looking for a Dropbox replacement and Proton doesn't deliver for Linux yet, I've stumbled over Koofr.eu. Maybe this is of help for some other Linux-users.

Please, when this feature will be considered... ? I'm using Proton Drive for my company and I use RcloneView with experimental feature in order to sync protondrive files, but it's really a pain and I'm not sure about privacy with this tool.

We really need a linux client and proton is already not cheap when it comes to storage, which makes it even worse that there is no linux app to use the full potential of the subscription.
Additionally, the Windows 10 end of life is coming closer and hence many people including my family want to move devices to linux to reduce waste, but then it is not possible to use ProtonDrive

Vote 4000! Like many others, this is a critically missing feature. Being a father of 3 teens, I have been teaching them the importance of privacy and vigilance against government overreach. Proton has everything needed to accomplish this except for not having a viable drive solution for Linux. I beg the product management team to reconsider their development priorities.

I've just migrated from Mac to Linux, so looking for a replacement for my old "Time Capsule" automated backup process. "Oh that's fine," I thought. "I've got Proton Drive - they're bound to have an app, or if all else fails I can use cron to automate something. It'll be fun!"

And then I discovered Proton Drive has no Linux capacity whatsoever.

Second most upvoted feature for proton drive, how is this not already in the pipeline?

This is a major feature, it must not be down-prioritized. Time to show that you care about privacy by making a client for a privacy oriented OS.
