I moved to Linux (MX Linux, Debian derivative) after Windows 10 hit EOL. The lack of a Linux client has become a critical issue for me, since I may need to downgrade or terminate my Proton subscription so I can afford a cloud storage provider which I can use for sync on Linux.
I've tried multiple workarounds: Celeste, rclone, and wine. I have to conclude that cloud sync on Linux simply won't be possible for me unless I change providers or Proton releases a Linux client.
