I want to switch to Linux but Proton Drive not being available is the only thing keeping me from making the switch.

With all the AI bs I'm looking to move everything to Linux really could use Proton Drive Linux version.

We are many paid users using Linux.

I suggest that every user start contacting Proton and ask for a release date of a ProtonDrive Linux client, to accelerate the process and put "some pressure" as I feel they don't pay much attention to their "User's voice".

I agree with most comments, this is ironic. How does Proton not support the most privacy friendly Operating Systems?

A Linux app or at least CLI interface for Proton Drive.

Proton Drive with Linux would be perfect and fulfil a lot of what people require using linux to move to proton from other cloud storage providers.

rsync have built in a feature for using proton drive via their CLI however this is not yet fully integrated with Proton Drive from what I have seen.

Not having a way to use drive with Linux is a major failing. I see this has been open for 2 years. If you want to retain linux users you need to give it, at least, equal priority.

Would love for this to work. I have seen an rclone script for this, but I haven't tested.

Upcoming windows features including "recall" are a substantial security and privacy risk. Even if it is possible to fully disable, Microsoft has a history of enabling feature in updates that users have disabled. Linux support may soon become essential.

a service that claims to put privacy and security first and then doesn't support the leading operating system dedicated to them is disappointing, suspicious and undermines user trust. Repent!

Please make all the apps available for download. I want to become a subscriber, but I don't like, use or trust Windwos and MacOS.

For the love of god, do it already. For all your talk about privavy, security and getting the web out of big tech's grasp, not supporting Linux for one of your core services is mindboggling.

I also am a paying subscriber. I would greatly appreciate a proton drive client for linux, because my main workstation is a linux machine. I am already using the linux client for proton vpn. Maybe an appimage or a flatpak to give trans-distro compatibility...

I've had a paid subscription to proton services almost since the start, but have only used protonmail all this time. As I look to adopt more of the proton ecosystem, having a native Linux client for proton drive is a critical requirement for me.

I just went proton. mail and vpn are set.
proton drive would really round it all out.

I would love a Linux version (.deb in my case) of the local client already offered to Windows and Mac users. I am fully Linux, and have been using Protonmail for over six years.

I think my next machine, used mainly for development, will be running Ubuntu. But without proton drive, i'm not so sure.
