An error occurred while saving the comment Long-Term Proton Unlimited Linux User commentedI decided to make the move from Gmail to Protonmail at least 7 or 8 years ago, and from Windows to Linux about 4 years ago. I have an Unlimited account, and the last critical piece of infrastructure for a truly independent and private/secure working environment is to have a native desktop drive connector, like the one for Windows, for _Linux_. Here's hoping for more resources ... 🤞

An error occurred while saving the comment Long-Term Proton Unlimited Linux User commentedAs one can access ProtonMail from non-native apps (like Outlook or Evolution) via the ProtonBridge, so it seems a good idea to be able to access ProtonCalendar in those same non-native apps via a similar mechanism, namely a Bridge-like equivalent for Calendar -- or perhaps an extension to the ProtonBridge that also handles Calendar items, Contacts, Tasks, Notes, etc.
So, the ultimate goal would be for complete access to ProtonX (X=Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes, etc) via a Proton-Uber-Bridge that allows for suitable apps to interface with Proton (such as Outlook on Windows, Evolution on Linux, etc). I hope you can see the larger idea in play here.
Perhaps this is already part of the long-term roadmap. if so, great! If not, please consider making such access to ProtonX apps possible in this way. Thanks.

Much as I like ProtonCalendar, it is not up to the job I require of it. So, I use EteSync to sync the native Calendar, Contacts and Tasks between my two Linux machines and Android phone.
If Proton were to develop something like this, it would go a **** of a long way to solving the zero-knowledge syncing problem, which would also address the Bridge issue as well as the Tasks issue that keep coming up in these forums.
